¡Hola! Mi nombre es Jose y este es mi segundo post en HiveBlog. Si no has leído mi primer post te recomiendo que lo leas, hice este post descriptivo porque siento que hago muchas actividades, y para ponerlos en contexto me pareció pertinente.
Hello! My name is Jose and this is my second post on HiveBlog. If you haven't read my first post, I recommend you read it. I made this descriptive post because I feel like I do a lot of activities, and to put them in context, it seemed pertinent.

Como comenté en el post anterior, soy bailarín, estudiante de educación para la danza, instructor del método Pilates y modelo en formación, con experiencia básica en música, teatro y circo en un nivel intermedio y avanzado respectivamente.
As I mentioned in the previous post, I am a dancer, dance education student, Pilates instructor and model in training, with basic experience in music, theater and circus at an intermediate and advanced level respectively.
¿Cuál fue el primer acercamiento al arte?
La música. En una conversación con Mama, ya luego de tener más de 14 años, me reveló que le emocionaba la idea de que yo siempre estuve cerca del arte y que siempre me seleccionaban para hacer algo referente a ello. En esa conversación descubrí que mi mama tuvo el mismo interés artístico que yo cuando estudiaba, solo que por seguir el clásico “estudia, gradúate y consigue un buen empleo” no siguió su sueño de ser artista.
Es por eso que mi mama nunca puso resistencia a esta pasión artística que sentía y siempre me ha apoyado. Así que si eres un Papa o una Mama que tiene ese pensamiento clásico no le cortes las alas creativas a tus hijos. El apoyo familiar es importante.
What was your first approach to art?
The music. In a conversation with Mama, after being more than 14 years old, she revealed to me that she was moved by the idea that I was always close to art and that I was always selected to do something related to it. In that conversation I discovered that my mother had the same artistic interest as me when I was studying, only that by following the classic “study, graduate and get a good job” she did not follow her dream of being an artist.
That is why my mother never resisted this artistic passion that I felt and has always supported me. So if you are a Dad or a Mom who has that classic thinking, don't cut off your children's creative wings. Family support is important.

¿De la música al circo, a la danza y el teatro?
Creo que era algo que ni yo mismo me esperaba. Consumía mucho contenido a través de la televisión en casa luego de mis actividades escolares, y no voy a negar que siempre quise estar frente a la cámara animando un programa, actuando en una telenovela o bailando en algún programa de esos que veía, sin embargo, había 3 factores que me impedían esa meta: no vivía cerca de la ciudad, mi inseguridad y mi familia machista.
From music to the circus, to dance and theater?
I think it was something that I myself did not expect. I consumed a lot of content through television at home after my school activities, and I will not deny that I always wanted to be in front of the camera animating a program, acting in a soap opera or dancing in one of those programs that I watched, however, There were 3 factors that prevented me from achieving that goal: I didn't live near the city, my insecurity, and my macho family.
Nunca supe si el factor familia machista fue un motivo para no hacerlo desde más pequeño, pero luego que inicie en esto con la música mi papa nunca se opuso, por lo cual luego entendí que era más un miedo que venía a través de mis inseguridades.
I never knew if the factor machista family was a reason not to do it from a young age, but after I started this with music my father never objected, so later I understood that it was more of a fear that came through of my insecurities.
Comencé en circo cuando cursaba 5to año del liceo, recuerdo que para ese momento por motivos de gusto también ya estaba entrenando en un gimnasio, pero no le veía sentido entrenar solo para tener un cuerpo bonito y ser saludable, yo quería algo más. Me invitaron a mediados de ese año a unas clases de acrobacias en telas, me hicieron una audición y quede solo por tener control de la fuerza y del peso de mi cuerpo gracias al entrenamiento que había hecho en el gimnasio.
I started in the circus when I was in my 5th year of high school, I remember that at that time, for reasons of taste, I was already training in a gym, but I didn't see the point in training just to have a beautiful body and be healthy, I wanted something more. They invited me in the middle of that year to some acrobatics classes in fabrics, they auditioned me and I was left alone because I had control of the strength and weight of my body thanks to the training I had done in the gym.

Esa agrupación fue genial porque allí fue donde tuve cercanía con la danza, necesitábamos tener conocimiento de la danza para hacer que la muestra al público se viera mucho más atractiva, aparte que nuestra mejor referencia era la compañía nort5eamericana Cirque du Soleil por lo completo que era.
That group was great because that's where I got close to dance, we needed to have knowledge of dance to make the show look much more attractive to the public, apart from the fact that our best reference was the North American company Cirque du Soleil because of how complete it was.

Luego de unos meses allí, tuve mi primera presentación de la cual tengo muy pocas fotos la verdad, sin embargo, comenzaron a salir oportunidades desde allí. Luego de eso nos invitaron a bailar solamente en una obra teatral, por allá en el 2015, posteriormente se me dio la oportunidad de hacer un taller montaje de teatro, con el cual me presente y fue excelente la experiencia. En aquel momento ya estaba en mi mente ser artista integral.
After a few months there, I had my first presentation of which I have very few photos to be honest, however, opportunities began to emerge from there. After that they invited us to dance only in a play, back in 2015, later I was given the opportunity to do a theater staging workshop, with which I presented myself and the experience was excellent. At that time it was already in my mind to be an integral artist.

¿Cómo llegue a ser instructor de Pilates?
Estuve bailando en agrupaciones varias por un tiempo y en paralelo llevaba mis estudios. Nos e como tenía tiempo para todo, pero creo que estaba bien organizado. Más adelante en un momento de apuro económico una amiga me invito a formarme como entrenador del método Pilates, me comento que yo utilizaba herramientas de ese método en mis clases de danza y que seguro me podía interesar. Consulte con uno de mis profesores de la universidad y estuvo 100% de acuerdo con eso, ya que iba a mejorar mi nivel técnico en la danza y quizás en el circo.
How did I become a Pilates instructor?
I was dancing in various groups for a while and at the same time I was studying. We e as had time for everything, but I think it was well organized. Later, in a time of economic hardship, a friend invited me to train as a Pilates method trainer. She told me that I used tools from that method in my dance classes and that I was sure to be interested. I consulted with one of my professors from the university and he was 100% in agreement with that, since it was going to improve my technical level in dance and maybe in the circus.

Ya para este momento deje de hacer circo porque el tiempo no me alcanzaba y por los altibajos económicos por la inestabilidad de mi país me llevo a disminuir el tiempo de mis actividades artísticas y de estudio para enfocarme más en mi estabilidad económica. Sin embargo nunca deje de bailar ni estudiar.
By this time I stopped doing circus because time was not enough and the economic ups and downs due to the instability of my country led me to reduce the time of my artistic and study activities to focus more on my economic stability. However, never stop dancing or studying.

EL CIRCO LLEGO A LOS ESTUDIOS DE PILATES
Hubo un movimiento que se volvió tendencia en mi país, dar clases de acrobacias de telas en los gimnasios y estudios de Pilates. Esto motivado por la buena condición física que alcanzábamos los que practicábamos dicha actividad, aparte que luego los clientes querían hacer cosas artísticas más allá de entrenar solo por salud. A mi me funciono perfecto porque me ayudo a retomar mis entrenamientos de circo y al mismo tiempo tener un ingreso permanente de allí.
THE CIRCUS ARRIVED AT PILATES STUDIOS
There was a movement that became a trend in my country, teaching fabric acrobatics in gyms and Pilates studios. This was motivated by the good physical condition that those of us who practiced this activity achieved, apart from the fact that later the clients wanted to do artistic things beyond training just for health. It worked perfectly for me because it helped me resume my circus training and at the same time have a permanent income from there.

¿Y el modelaje?
Luego de todo esto, hace dos años, dos semanas antes de que se decretara pandemia mundial me invitaron a participar en na academia de modelaje, me expusieron los beneficios que tendría a nivel de imagen por mi perfil artistita, al principio estuve dudoso, pero ya luego entendí que esto también es parte del medio artístico y comencé a asistir a mis clases, ese horario se adaptaba perfecto a mi disponibilidad porque solo le dedicaba dos horas semanales a esa actividad.
And modeling?
After all this, two years ago, two weeks before the global pandemic was decreed, they invited me to participate in a modeling academy, they explained the benefits that I would have at the image level for my artist profile, at first I was doubtful, but now then I understood that this is also part of the artistic medium and I began to attend my classes, that schedule was perfectly adapted to my availability because I only dedicated two hours a week to that activity.

Y es así como de forma resumida llegamos a mi vida actual, amo todo lo que hago y soy feliz haciéndolo. Creo que tengo los trabajos perfectos para mí. Quizás en un próximo post les hable sobre alguno de mis primeros viajes de este año o sobre el método Pilates. Como no lo sabemos, no te pierdas el próximo post.
And this is how, in summary, we arrive at my current life, I love everything I do and I am happy doing it. I think I have the perfect jobs for me.
