Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, en esta oportunidad les voy a comentar sobre nuestras ultimas vacaciones que pudimos disfrutar antes de que comenzara esta locura de "La Pandemia"
Se trata de un viaje que planificamos juntos a la ciudad de Manizales en Colombia a visitar a mi cuñada y su familia, fueron unos días maravillosos e inolvidables que quisiéramos repetir lo mas pronto posible y ahora mas , con tanto tiempo encerrados cumpliendo cuarentena y las medidas de Bioseguridad ,que ya el cuerpo de uno como que le esta pidiendo !Auxilio sáquenme de aquí¡
En fin, comenzamos nuestra odisea en día jueves en la tardes cuando salimos del terminal terrestre de la ciudad de Barquisimeto con destino a San Antonino, allí llegamos el día viernes a primera hora, pasamos por la aduana y todo el proceso de sellado del pasaporte etc. para luego ubicar un western unión, sitio donde íbamos a retirar el efectivo que nos enviaba la hija desde Perú, nos toco hacer una cola desde las 08:00 am hasta las 06:00 pm para retirar el efectivo Fue una angustia terrible todo el día de pie y bajo un sol inclemente, aguantando hambre y sed hasta que nos toco nuestro turno y después de esperar tanto, por fin ya teníamos como irnos al centro a continuar con nuestro viaje, como era la primera vez que hacíamos este recorrido fuera de nuestro país Venezuela, estábamos un poco ansiosos ya que no conocíamos muy bien o no estábamos tan seguros de cuál era el siguiente paso a seguir(imaginen: cansados de todo el día llevando sol, con hambre y sed ,una ducha hubiera sido fenomenal) durante toda la espera nos acompañaron estos señores que venden paquetes de viaje con comida y duchas incluidas, al principio no los tomamos mucho en cuenta, pero al final del día ya entrando en desespero porque ya se estaba haciendo de noche y aun no teníamos como continuar nuestro viaje, nos convencieron de aceptarles un paquete de viaje que ofrecieron el cual contenía todos los pasajes pagos hasta Manizales ,solo había que hacer escala en el terminal de Bogotá y de ahí directo a Manizales todo por una cifra que nos pareció justa.
Y aceptamos por la urgencia de lo tarde que era, no estábamos como para ponernos nosotros mismo a buscar por nuestra cuenta, y bueno nos llevaron al centro nos montaron en una línea de Autobuses y comenzó nuestro recorrido por tierras colombianas..

was a trip that we planned together to the city of Manizales in Colombia to visit my sister in law and her family, they were wonderful and unforgettable days that we would like to repeat as soon as possible and now even more, with so much time locked up in quarantine and the Biosecurity measures, that one's body is asking for help, get me out of here!
We started our odyssey on Thursday afternoon when we left the land terminal of the city of Barquisimeto bound for San Antonino, there we arrived early on Friday, we went through customs and the whole process of stamping the passport etc.. Then we located a western union, the place where we were going to withdraw the cash that our daughter sent us from Peru, we had to wait in line from 08:00 am until 06: It was a terrible anguish all day standing under an inclement sun, enduring hunger and thirst until it was our turn and after waiting so long, we finally had to go downtown to continue our trip, as it was the first time we made this trip outside our country Venezuela, we were a little anxious because we did not know very well or we were not so sure what was the next step to follow (imagine, we were tired of all day carrying the sun and the sun): We were a bit anxious because we did not know very well or we were not sure what was the next step to follow (imagine: tired from all day carrying the sun, hungry and thirsty, a shower would have been phenomenal) during the whole wait we were accompanied by these gentlemen who sell travel packages with food and showers included, at first we did not take them into account, but at the end of the day we were getting desperate because it was getting dark and we still had no way to continue our trip, They convinced us to accept a travel package that they offered which contained all paid tickets to Manizales, we only had to stop at the terminal in Bogota and from there directly to Manizales all for a figure that seemed fair to us.
And we accepted because of the urgency of how late it was, we were not enough to get ourselves to look for our own, and well they took us to the center we got on a bus line and began our journey through Colombian lands ...
Llegamos al terminal terrestre de Bogotá al día siguiente sábado al medio día, mientras hacíamos el trasbordo arrancamos para Manizales luego de unas dos horas de espera y terminamos llegando casi a las 12 de la noche de ese sábado a nuestro destino final, Manizales como le dicen "Ciudad de las Puertas Abiertas" donde fuimos recibidos por nuestra familia que ansiosos nos esperaban (por fin desde el jueves en la noche que salimos de la ciudad de Barquisimeto hasta el sábado en la noche que llegamos a casa de la familia y pudimos comer algo digno y descansar como Dios manda) y Así nos recibieron
arrived at the bus terminal in Bogota the next Saturday at noon, while making the transfer we started to Manizales after about two hours of waiting and ended up arriving almost at 12 pm that Saturday at our final destination, Manizales as they call it "City of Open Doors" where we were received by our family who were anxiously waiting for us (finally since Thursday night when we left the city of Barquisimeto until Saturday night when we arrived at the family's house and we could eat something decent and rest as God commands) and so we were received.
Ya estando en Manizales comenzamos nuestro recorrido siempre acompañados de nuestra querida familia como buenos anfitriones

Visitando varios lugares turísticos, entre los cuales estaba de primero Chipre, en esta parte de la ciudad de Manizales se encuentra la torre de Chipre lugar donde se puede apreciar un paisaje maravilloso

!Y si usted fue a Chipres y no probo las ricas obleas o un rico café de los que allí venden ,entonces no fue a Manizales,así de sencillo.¡

Disfrutando de unas ricas obleas, yo creía que las obleas solo se comían con arequipe pero al llegar a Chipre me di cuenta que ¡yo no sabia nada.!

Me gusto mucho ,es mas me impresione ya que era la primera vez que veía que un Jeep lo utilizaban como un negocio para la venta de cafés
liked it a lot, I was even more impressed because it was the first time I saw a Jeep being used as a business to sell coffee.
Además de sus atractivos sitios para visitar, entre los que tenemos “El Monumento a los Colonizadores” el cual fue construido con materiales de desecho como llaves de puertas y utensilios de bronce, fue construido en honor a esas personas que atravesaron las cerros y caminos difíciles hasta llegar y conquistar este sitio
In addition to its attractive sites to visit, among which we have "The Monument to the Colonizers" which was built with scrap materials such as door keys and bronze utensils, was built in honor of those people who crossed the hills and difficult roads to reach and conquer this site.
Otro sitio que visitamos fue “El cable Aéreo”, lugar donde existe un medio de transporte conocido también en otros países como teleférico, el cual comunica la ciudad de Manizales con el municipio de Villamaria, es emocionante porque durante el recorrido de una estación a otra se puede apreciar unos paisajes maravillosos como también un poco de temor al verse que uno esta tan alto y pasando por encima de tantas casas y cosas que se siente como si uno estuviera volando ,es una experiencia inolvidable.
Another place we visited was "El Cable Aéreo", a place where there is a means of transportation also known in other countries as cable car, which connects the city of Manizales with the municipality of Villamaria, it is exciting because during the journey from one station to another you can see some wonderful landscapes as well as a little fear to see that one is so high and passing over so many houses and things that you feel like you are flying, it is an unforgettable experience.

Otro sitio que nos encanto visitar por sus variedad en tiendas y servicios fue el “Centro comercial Los fundadores”
Aquí te encuentras de todo, hasta lo inimaginable.

Otro de los bonitos e interesantes sitios que tuvimos la gran oportunidad de visitar fue La “Catedral Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Rosario.”
Another of the beautiful and interesting sites that we had the great opportunity to visit was the "Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary".
Es una construcción realizada por el arquitecto Francés Julien Polti, por los años del 1928 al 1939 con 115 metros de altura es la más alta de toda Colombia está hecha con concreto armado y dentro de ella se pueden apreciar además de sus 4 torres laterales de 62 metros de altura cada una de ellas, unos hermosos Vitrales que llamaron mucho mi atención por lo impresionante de su obra.

Frente de esta catedral podemos apreciar el Bolívar Cóndor, escultura realizada en honor a Simón Bolívar
In front of this cathedral we can appreciate the Bolivar Condor, a sculpture made in honor of Simon Bolivar.
Cerca de allí se encuentra el Café La Terraza un sitio muy bonito y famoso por la variedad de tipos de café y comida que preparan, desde allí se puede apreciar toda la ciudad.
Nearby is the Café La Terraza a very nice place famous for the variety of types of coffee and food they prepare, from there you can see the whole city.
Otro de los sitios que visitamos fue el Ecoparque Los Yarumos, sitio maravilloso por el contacto con la flora y fauna ademes de atracciones para que grandes y chicos puedan disfrutar de un día diferente.
Another site we visited was the Ecoparque Los Yarumos, a wonderful place for the contact with the flora and fauna as well as attractions for children and adults to enjoy a different day.
Ya para finalizar ,También Visitamos El Centro de Ciencia Francisco José de Caldas.
Finally, we also visited the Francisco José de Caldas Science Center.
Bueno hasta aquí fueron nuestras vacaciones en casa de nuestra familia y si también fueron mas sitios los que visitamos pero me interese mas por estos,no es que los otros no hayan sido importantes, y como les comente al principio quisiéramos repetir este viaje nuevamente lo anhelamos con el alma, hace falta el abrazo y compañía de los seres queridos.
Well up to here was our vacation at our family's home and if there were also more places that we visited but I was more interested in these, not that the others have not been important, and as I said at the beginning we would like to repeat this trip again we long for it with the soul, it takes the embrace and company of loved ones.
