Which is one of the most common problems of this age and is not limited to adults only, but also affects children. We can define stress as the feelings that we have while performing an action that poses a challenge or a threatening situation and the most important cause of which is the external pressures that a person is exposed to, whether at work or home, or even emergency changes that occur in the daily routine
As for children, the cause of stress may be the lack of time to play as a result of large number of homework, and you as a parent may be the cause of stress by talking about work problems at home or engaging in sharp discussion with your wife, and your fear may cause stress for the child, in addition to family circumstances like the death of a dear person or the divorce of parents.

Childhood stress symptoms

Due to the difference in human nature, it is not easy to recognize stress, but the most common symptoms can be collected in the following
A noticeable or sharp change in behavior, unwillingness to participate in study activities, change in sleep pattern, crying without a specific reason, and these symptoms and their intensity change according to the kid's age and the degree of stress obtained.
Many cases have been recorded in which the matter may reach physical symptoms, not just psychological ones, such as a Head or stomach ache.

Reducing the effects of stress

Based on the phrase that understanding the problem is half the solution, it is perhaps the most important half, parents must identify the sources and causes of stress before taking any action. If the stress is a result of fear, reducing school activities will not make any difference rather, parents should spend more time with the child, show attention to what worries him, no matter how small, this makes kids feel reassured. Help in solving school activities can relieve stress on the kid if it is caused by a large number of school activities. Bullying may be one of the causes of stress for children, and this requires parents to spend more time with teachers, and the matter may develop to the point of seeking a psychiatrist to help the child overcome this problem.
