Colourful Rangoli is now a common way to decorate homes and make any festival beautiful. Today, I came across this glowing illuminated rangoli. Which was quite sparkling at night.
"Rangoli is an art form, originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor or the ground using materials such as coloured rice, coloured sand, quartz powder or flower petals". - Wikipedia
However in real, it is one of the simple looking during day time. No one would belive this beautiful looking art is hand made and only use of powder color.
Vibrant colourful and sparkling at night is a nice way to make any occassion special. I am delighted to see the different colour of Rangoli all at one place...Any festival is marked with lighting and having such a coloueful lighting simply dazzles the occassion.

Its very appreciating to have such artist at every home that make the place so vibrant. The amount of effort and time involved is enormous. Many a times it take full day to draw and design the Rangoli.
Looking at the peacock, one could estimate the amount of time taken in making such huge drawing. And then filling up each part elegantly. This is other way to know the vibrant colour of India. Today India is celebrating Chatth Festival, and Rangoli can be seen at most places. Anyhow, the glimpse of this unpopular festival will be coming soon.
