Art Party Night!

in GEMS5 years ago

Last May 13, I attended another art party live stream of Papemelroti artist, Robert Alejandro. The art party was intended for adults, the reason why it was scheduled at 7 P.M. He also draws quickly and does not teach the viewers compared when hosting an art party for kids. You can choose to join him paint or just watch him create. The pieces he drew were spontaneous and just go for what he feels and what the viewers suggests.

The requirements for the party were paper, brush and black paint. I can't remember what type of paint or ink he used but I have no other black liquid art material except for watercolor, so it was what I used. The pigment isn't as thick and dark as what was used by Robert but it's fine. It's just for fun, anyway.

The art party was fun despite some viewers complaining of the art style Robert used during the live. For me, it was a refreshing activity to try different art style. The painting strokes were simple and easy even though he draws quick, the reason why most of my pieces missed some details. Lol. He also drew each piece on separate papers while I tried to fit everything on a little space of a single paper, and because of that, I wasn't able to draw the little details, like this cat with no face because my brush is big for small drawings.

This dog or rabbit also has no face. I didn't know if it was a dog or rabbit, Robert didn't also mention what it was. Haha.

Anyway, it was fun even though it consumed my black watercolor palette quite a lot.

Robert will have his next art party for adults on May 20 at 7 P.M. on Facebook.
