Hola hola gente de gems! acá ando yo de nuevo, hace unas semanas mi profesora de arte nos pidió hacer un dibujo con tema a libre elección, yo me emocioné mucho ya que hace un tiempo no dibujaba algo que me gustase así que esa actividad me encantó.
I spent a long time thinking about what I should draw, I was very indecisive but in the end I decided to draw Dokkaebi Bihyung, a character from one of my favorite comics "Omniscient Reader", personally this character is my favorite even though he can be a bit irritating at times, he made me laugh a couple of times while I was reading the comic.
Estuve un buen rato pensando en qué debía dibujar, estuve muy indecisa pero al final decidí dibujar al Dokkaebi Bihyung, personaje de uno de mis comics favoritos "Lector Omnisente", en lo personal este personaje es mi favorito a pesar de que puede llegar a ser algo irritante a veces, me hizo reír un par de veces mientras leía el comic.
After an hour, I managed to finish the drawing, I really liked the result but I was afraid that the teacher would not like it even though it was a free choice subject, I was quite restless for the two days I had no art classes, until the day the work was due I got up at 4:00 a.m. and decided to google something that my teacher would like.
Luego de una hora, logré terminar el dibujo, el resultado me había gustado mucho pero temía que a la profesora no le gustase a pesar de ser un tema a libre elección, estuve bastante inquieta por los dos días que no tenía clases de arte, hasta que justo el día que se entregaba el trabajo me levanté a las 4:00 a.m. y decidida me puse a buscar por google algo que le pudiese gustar a mi profesora.
During my search I found an abstract painting of an eye, when I saw it I loved it and I thought that if I did it well my teacher might also like it, so I got down to work and started with the sketch, for the drawing I wanted to use markers as I thought it would look better that way, but something I did not expect was that some of them were dry due to all the use that my friends gave it at school :'(
Durante mi busqueda encontré una pintura abstracta de un ojo, al verla me encantó y pensé que si lo hacía bien a mi profesora también le podría gustar, así que me puse manos a la obra y comencé con el boceto, para el dibujo quise utilizar marcodores ya que pensé que quedaría mejor así, pero algo que no me esperaba fue que algunos de ellos estuviesen secos debido a todo el uso que le dieron mis amigas en el colegio :'(.
Luckily for me a big part of my markers still had ink in them so after borrowing a thick black marker from my mom I painted my drawing. Despite the hour I really enjoyed doing it and you could say that doing it was worth it since I liked the result much more my art teacher liked it a lot :D, in fact it was her favorite of all and she gave me the maximum grade which is a 20, it made me very happy.
Para mi suerte una gran parte de mis marcadores aún tenían tinta así que después de agarrar prestado un marcador negro grueso de mi mamá cotinué con mi dibujo. A pesar de la hora disfruté mucho haciendolo y se podría decir que hacerlo valió la pena ya que me gustó mucho más el resultado a mi profesora de arte le gustó mucho :D, de hecho fue su favorito de todos y me dió la nota máxima que es un 20, me hizo muy feliz.
