Por si no lo saben, hace un mes (casi) que tomé una de las más grandiosas decisiones en mi vida, aquí lo pueden leer.
In case you don't know, it's been a month (almost) since I made one of the greatest decisions in my life, here you can read about it.
Estas cuatro semanas, han sido muy importantes para mí. Prácticamente, se ha roto la burbuja de la idealización, de solo pensar e imaginarme como sería estar en la universidad estudiando una carrera que me hiciera sentirme feliz. Debo recalcar, mi más sincero agradecimiento, a varias personas, pero primero a sí misma, porque a través de los primeros meses del año, finalmente mi voz interior emergió y expresó al exterior todo lo que necesitó pronunciar, todo lo que había callado.
These four weeks have been very important for me. Practically, the bubble of idealization has been broken, of just thinking and imagining what it would be like to be in college studying a career that would make me feel happy. I must emphasize, my most sincere thanks, to several people, but first to myself, because through the first months of the year, finally my inner voice emerged and expressed to the outside all that it needed to pronounce, all that I had kept silent.
Con la situación de la pandemia, solía pensar que no tenía el poder de crear nuevas conexiones con otras personas, con gente distinta, con personas de gustos afines. Ahora comprendí, que siempre estuve encerrada en sí misma, y que hay un mundo mágico, más allá de hablar consigo mismo y cultivar una relación intrapersonal, la cual es buenísima, porque debes crecer en ti, confiar en sí mismo, luchar por ti, pero también debes brindarte y permitirte la oportunidad de conocer a otros.
With the pandemic situation, I used to think that I didn't have the power to create new connections with other people, with different people, with like-minded people. Now I understood, that I was always closed in on myself, and that there is a magical world, beyond talking to yourself and cultivating an intrapersonal relationship, which is great, because you have to grow in yourself, trust yourself, fight for yourself, but you also have to give yourself and allow yourself the opportunity to meet others.

No obstante, más allá de conocer a otros, es maravilloso estimular el poder de escuchar. Para una tarea de la carrera que estoy cursando, nos pidieron leer el libro de Ismael Cala, titulado “El poder de escuchar”, lo que no me esperé, es como escritora conectarme con las emociones que plasma el autor en sus líneas, como logra envolverte un texto que manifiesta superación y liberación de la zona de confort. Este libro, nos invita a través de anécdotas, pensamientos, vivencias y recomendaciones, como vivir, es básicamente algo orientativo.
However, beyond meeting others, it is wonderful to stimulate the power of listening. For an assignment of the career I am studying, we were asked to read the book by Ismael Cala, entitled "The power of listening", what I did not expect, is as a writer to connect with the emotions that the author expresses in his lines, as he manages to wrap a text that shows overcoming and liberation from the comfort zone. This book invites us through anecdotes, thoughts, experiences and recommendations, how to live, it is basically something orientative.
Un detalle que he aprendido de los libros como el de Ismael Cala, es que las emociones son un factor valioso a la hora de conectar con los lectores y también el dejar una huella a través de las palabras, puede ser dejar una huella de aprendizaje al lector. Este libro, me ha ensenado que debemos ser resilientes, valientes, decididos, luchar por nuestros sueños, metas, ilusiones e ideas. También, un punto importante, es que luches por construir tu propia visión de la vida, si bien debes alimentarla con libros, historias de otras personas, es relevante construir tu propia versión de la vida.
A detail that I have learned from books like Ismael Cala's, is that emotions are a valuable factor when connecting with readers and also leaving an imprint through words can be a learning experience for the reader. This book has taught me that we must be resilient, brave, determined, fight for our dreams, goals, illusions and ideas. Also, an important point is to fight to build your own vision of life, although you must feed it with books, other people's stories, it is relevant to build your own version of life.
Si bien, este mes ha tenido sus subidas y sus bajadas, como todo, no ha sido perfecto. Pero en medio de esa imperfección, he encontrado razones para vivir, para seguir y sobre todo estoy entendiendo lo valioso que es vivir el momento, como si no existiera un mañana o no tuviese otras obligaciones, a fluir, respirar, a estar ahí.
Although this month has had its ups and downs, like everything else, it has not been perfect. But in the midst of that imperfection, I have found reasons to live, to continue and above all I am understanding how valuable it is to live in the moment, as if there were no tomorrow or no other obligations, to flow, to breathe, to be there.
De la universidad, he podido percibir que es un mundo universal. Ahí, conoceremos a millones de personas (literal), es una referencia. Cada persona será distinta, todas tienen sus pros y sus contras, sus cosas buenas y no tan buenas. Nadie es perfecto, pero sí, puede mejorar como ser humano. Tenemos habilidades que son válidas de aplaudir, y defectos que nos brindan una visión optimista de mejoría.
From the university, I have been able to perceive that it is a universal world. There, we will meet millions of people (literally), it is a reference. Each person will be different, they all have their pros and cons, their good and not so good things. Nobody is perfect, but yes, you can improve as a human being. We have abilities that are valid to applaud, and defects that give us an optimistic vision of improvement.
Este mes, percibí a la lejanía la personalidad, los rasgos y la forma de actuar, comunicarse y ser de muchas personas, esto no es por juzgar, ni definir. También, conocí a personas que me enseñaron grandiosas cosas, a definir: ¿Quién suma y quién resta a mi vida? Es bueno, definir y estar consciente de lo que queremos: palabras, personas, hábitos, pensamientos, porque eso definirá el futuro en gran parte.
This month, I perceived from afar the personality, the traits and the way of acting, communicating and being of many people, this is not to judge, nor to define. Also, I met people who taught me great things, to define: Who adds and who subtracts to my life? It is good to define and be aware of what we want: words, people, habits, thoughts, because that will define the future in large part.

Pasé ratos amenos con diversos grupos, decidiendo desde la libertad y con el propósito de escuchar, me reí y dialogué sintiéndome cómoda, pues todos tenemos un mundo interior que merece ser conocido y expresado. Me encontré en mi sección con gente muy talentosa, de la cual estoy orgullosa, porque han logrado definir sus talentos: escribir, ser voz de doblaje, bailar, cantar, viajar, ser actor, entre otros.
I spent pleasant moments with different groups, deciding from freedom and with the purpose of listening, I laughed and dialogued feeling comfortable, because we all have an inner world that deserves to be known and expressed. I met in my section with very talented people, of whom I am proud, because they have managed to define their talents: writing, dubbing voice, dancing, singing, traveling, being an actor, among others.
Me agradó, ver que sí puedo instaurar nuevas conexiones, porque el ser humano es social y tiene la capacidad de interactuar, solo que, al principio, puede dar un poco de nervios y temor, pero si existe un lugar feliz. Sin duda, la universidad es una experiencia inigualable que no se compara con nada.
I was pleased to see that I can establish new connections, because the human being is social and has the ability to interact, only that, at first, it can give a little nervous and fear, but if there is a happy place. Undoubtedly, college is an unparalleled experience that can't be compared to anything else.
Del tipo de persona que más valoro, son las personas vitaminas, ellas logran impulsar tu conocimiento, te llenaran. Valóralas, son un ratico, estas dejaran una huella muy valiosa, la huella del aprendizaje.
Of the type of person I value the most, are the vitamin people, they manage to boost your knowledge, they will fill you up. Value them, they are a ratico, they will leave a very valuable footprint, the footprint of learning.
Otro aspecto relevante es que no debemos amargarnos, ni preocuparnos por no caerles bien a todas las personas, porque precisamente todos somos distintos y no siempre puedes conectar.
Another relevant aspect is that we should not be bitter or worry about not everyone liking us, because we are all different and you cannot always connect.
Finalmente, vive y respeta a los demás. Todos tienen un mundo maravilloso por ser descubierto, no sabes, ni te imaginas, las grandiosas conversaciones que puedes llegar a tener.
Finally, live and respect others. Everyone has a wonderful world to be discovered, you don't know, nor can you imagine, the great conversations you can have.
