Just a quick note. When you say just stop paying taxes Jeff, for most of us this is impossible. Its taken from our wages before we even get our own hands on our wages!
I have tried not paying Council Tax but its hopeless, sending legal powerful notices, nothing works they just send in the bailiffs etc etc. Its not as easy as you suggest, its so deeply stitched into society it would require an act of god to remove it and that isnt happening anytime soon.
