RV Renovation Nearing Completion

in GEMS21 days ago (edited)

When I bought this 22 foot long 1982 Ford Glendale back in the spring. I was naive enough to think I would have all renovations and work done within a month or two lol. Now 7 months later, the interior is nearly finished!

Getting rid of some boxes and garbage that is currently in the above the cab bed, installing curtains, gating off the fireplace, finishing the cupboard above the kitchen table/bed, installing a sheet of stainless steel above the wood burning stove and installing the ladder for the bunk bed. Is all that remains to be done.

Work that has been done: Removed the propane system, the furnace, the oven and fridge (I wanted to keep the fridge but it did not work well), building a box with ceramic tile and installing the wood burning stove in it. With the chimney running to the air vent for the oven (where the oven used to be), installing new fridge and boxing it in, insulating all areas, built rails for bunk beds using old logs found in a forest, installed solar system (solar panels on the roof (100w x 2), controller and inverter with 2 100ah lifpo4 batteries), installed purple shag carpet, sanded and painted the walls, and I know there is probably more that I am forgetting lol.

To give a comparison here are some pics of what it looked like when I started.

With the interior nearly completion, it will be done to get the engine fully up and running! Which has been quite the battle in itself lol.
