VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL
¡Buenos días a todos! Me presento, soy Jhonny Villanueva (25 años) y si tengo que definir lo que soy, pues sería una mente creativa. Cómo bien dice mi perfil: "La creatividad es la esencia del artista; su arte, la manifestación de la misma". Y es que, todo buen arte tiene como principal fuente de desarrollo un concepto, una idea, una motivación. Para lograr expresar estas cosas hace falta ser creativo. ¿Entonces soy un artista? Sí. Me siento e identifico como tal. Si bien es cierto que en este mundo lleno de profesionales y expertos, es difícil aplicarse el término de artista, lo cierto es que toda creación que signifique o haga sentir algo al espectador, es considerado arte, y quién lo crea, por ende, es un artista. Hablemos entonces de creaciones. ¿Que es lo que hago? Pues, para poder dar respuesta a esta pregunta es necesario dar a conocer mis pasiones, ya que lo que hago es un reflejo de las cosas que me gustan y lo cierto es que me gustan muchas cosas.
MIS PASIONES
Cuando eres niño la imaginación es un don maravilloso que te permite "crear cosas con la mente" pero, ya sea con talento, esfuerzo o ambos, también puedes materializarlo. Esto es posible con la conceptualización de una idea, y su manifestación reflejada en algo tan simple como... Un dibujo, una escritura, una compocisión o algo más.
Siempre me he dejado llevar por la imaginación en muchos sentidos y por eso me he sentido atraído a muchas cosas, todas estas principalmente relacionadas al arte. Mi pasión más temprana fue el dibujar. El poder darle forma a todo aquello que podía imaginar a través del dibujo no es más que una bendición y un don que si bien, no es perfecto, como con el resto de mis pasiones, existe un talento por explotar a través del esfuerzo y la constancia. Esto ha ido evolucionando con el paso del tiempo. Hoy por hoy, entre otras de mis pasiones está el diseño, el cual me ha generado un interés grande por el orden, la precisión y el impacto visual de una publicidad, un logotipo y el branding en general. He de decir que tanto el dibujo como el diseño son temas al que he entrado de lleno de forma autodidacta, aprendiendo por mi cuenta como usar un lápiz para hacer sombreados hasta como usar Adobe Ilustrator diseñar un logo "bonito" o realizar dibujos digitales;
Ahora bien, así como el dibujo ha evolucionado con el paso de los años, también me he sentido atraído por otras cosas que también han venido desarrollándose o son nuevas. A la par de gustarme el dibujo desde que tengo uso de razón, también he tenido fascinación por las historias y esto va de la mano de mí gusto especial por el cine. Cuando veía una película, tomaba mis juguetes o figuras de acción he intentaba imitar la película, pero a mí estilo o con cosas que me gustarían que hubieran sucedido. Esto fue cambiando, al punto de "hacer" una película con dichos juguetes con una versión alterna y libre de una película hasta hacer mis propias historias. Éstas se manifestaron en forma de juego con mis juguetes pero tiempo después, en forma de escritos, sinopsis o guiones mentales. Todo esto fue posible gracias al poder de la imaginación y mi amor incondicional por el cine. Aquí ya tendríamos entonces otras pasiones mías: El cine y la escritura. De esta última surgieron otras pasiones más como la composición de canciones y poemas (las cuales han crecido mucho) y la lectura de obras literarias, tanto universales como de otras. Esto ha hecho que mi imaginación no decaiga y siga creciendo, dándome motivos para seguir creando cosas. De las historias que invente de niño, muchas, por no decir todas, y las que he venido creando con el tiempo, tienen un lugar en mi mente dónde guardo éstas "películas mentales" muchas de las cuales aún no se manifiestan por escrito. Con respecto al maravilloso mundo del cine, no soy experto en temas de producción pero si me considero un observador en cuanto a trama, guión, historias, personajes y más por lo que suelo opinar sobre películas o series y compararlo con el resto de espectadores. La compocisión y la poesía, por otro lado, ha abierto una puerta a un ámbito que siempre me ha llamado la atención, aunque que recién lo estoy explorando: la música. Actualmente me encuentro aprendiendo a usar mi propio teclado musical (Mi instrumento favorito) y también programas de edición de sonido. Esto claro, es algo más nuevo y es una prueba de lo grande que puede ser la creatividad cuando tienes un impulso por crear cosas. Un ejemplo de ésto es mi curiosidad por adaptar letras de canciones en ingles al español siendo lo más fiel al material original.
Otras pasiones que no he explorado pero considero pasiones por ser un seguidor arduo de ello y desearía un día aprender a realizar, es la edición de videos, la pintura y la escultura. Otros temas de interés son la arquitectura, la ciencia, la tecnología y la biología, de los cuales me inspiró para dibujar (Criaturas, edificios o vehículos por ejemplo) o tener una opinión para compartir (Como los efectos de alguna tecnología o ciencia sobre el planeta o el ser humano) Podría decirse que opinar es otra de mis pasiones, acompañado de mí buena oratoria (sin querer sonar presumido) y mi facilidad de hablar y unir ideas para un análisis objetivo y sano.
¿QUE COMPARTIRÉ EN ESTA PLATAFORMA?
Me gusta escribir. Esta plataforma es perfecta para mis opiniones, ideas, historias, poemas y más. En este caso, quiero compartir mis dibujos y diseños, acompañados de una historia, opinión, o descripción de lo que representa. Quiero compartir mis pensamientos en forma de poemas o hablar de todo un poco. Se que aquí podré crecer y tener una proyección a futuro para otras cosas como un podcast, donde podré hablar y compartir muchas cosas o un canal el alguna página hermana del mismo HIVE para mostrar mis procesos creativos, creación de diseños o dibujos. Soy, obedeciendo la realidad que todos pensamos, un artista, y un verdadero artista comparte su talento con el mundo. Deseo muchísimo inspirar y sentirme inspirado, algo que estoy seguro pasará, por qué en esta plataforma hay muchísima gente llena del más maravilloso regalo que nos ha dado la vida a los artistas: la creatividad.
UN ARTISTA MÁS DE ACÁ
Ya no tengo nada más que agregar, salvo agradecerles el tiempo que se tomaron en leer este pequeño resumen de mí, de lo que soy como artista. También estaré muy atento a esta maravillosa comunidad de HIVE, que más que obtener algún beneficio monetario (que no viene mal) están decididas a compartir su arte y más. Good morning everyone! I'm Jhonny Villanueva (25 years old) and if I have to define what I am, it would be a creative mind. As my profile says: "Creativity is the essence of the artist; his art, the manifestation of it". And the fact is that all good art has as its main source of development a concept, an idea, a motivation. In order to express these things, it is necessary to be creative. So I am an artist? Yes, I feel and identify myself as such. Although it is true that in this world full of professionals and experts, it is difficult to apply the term artist, the truth is that any creation that means something or makes the viewer feel something, is considered art, and whoever creates it, therefore, is an artist. Let's talk then about creations, what do I do? Well, in order to answer this question it is necessary to let you know my passions, since what I do is a reflection of the things I like and the truth is that I like many things.
MY PASSIONS
When you are a child, imagination is a wonderful gift that allows you to "create things with your mind" but, either with talent, effort or both, you can also materialize it. This is possible with the conceptualization of an idea, and its manifestation in something as simple as... A drawing, a writing, a composition or something else.
I have always been driven by my imagination in many ways and that is why I have been attracted to many things, all of them mainly related to art. My earliest passion was drawing. Being able to give form to everything I could imagine through drawing is nothing more than a blessing and a gift that although it is not perfect, as with the rest of my passions, there is a talent to be exploited through effort and perseverance. This has evolved over time. Today, among my other passions is design, which has generated in me a great interest in order, precision and the visual impact of an advertisement, a logo and branding in general. I must say that both drawing and design are subjects that I have entered fully self-taught, learning on my own how to use a pencil to make shading to how to use Adobe Illustrator to design a "nice" logo or make digital drawings;
Now, as drawing has evolved over the years, I have also been attracted by other things that have also been developing or are new. As well as liking drawing for as long as I can remember, I have also been fascinated by stories and this goes hand in hand with my special taste for cinema. When I saw a movie, I would take my toys or action figures and try to imitate the movie, but in my style or with things that I would like to have happened. This changed, to the point of "making" a movie with those toys with an alternate and free version of a movie to making my own stories. These manifested themselves in the form of playing with my toys but later, in the form of writing, synopses or mental scripts. All this was possible thanks to the power of imagination and my unconditional love for cinema. Here we would already have other passions of mine: cinema and writing. From the latter came other passions such as composing songs and poems (which have grown a lot) and reading literary works, both universal and others. This has kept my imagination alive and growing, giving me reasons to keep creating things. Of the stories I invented as a child, many, if not all, and those that I have been creating over time, have a place in my mind where I keep these "mental movies" many of which are not yet manifested in writing. With respect to the wonderful world of cinema, I am not an expert in production issues but I do consider myself an observer in terms of plot, script, stories, characters and more so I usually give my opinion on films or series and compare it with the rest of the viewers. Composition and poetry, on the other hand, has opened a door to a field that has always caught my attention, although I'm just exploring it: music. I am currently learning to use my own musical keyboard (my favorite instrument) and also sound editing software. This of course is something newer and is a proof of how great creativity can be when you have an impulse to create things. An example of this is my curiosity to adapt English lyrics to Spanish being as faithful to the original material as possible.
Other passions that I haven't explored but I consider passions because I'm an arduous follower of them and would like to one day learn how to do, are video editing, painting and sculpture. Other topics of interest are architecture, science, technology and biology, which inspired me to draw (Creatures, buildings or vehicles for example) or have an opinion to share (As the effects of some technology or science on the planet or the human being) I could say that giving an opinion is another of my passions, accompanied by my good oratory (without wanting to sound boastful) and my facility to speak and join ideas for an objective and healthy analysis.
WHAT WILL I SHARE ON THIS PLATFORM?
I like to write. This platform is perfect for my opinions, ideas, stories, poems and more. In this case, I want to share my drawings and designs, accompanied by a story, opinion, or description of what it represents. I want to share my thoughts in the form of poems or talk about everything a little bit. I know that here I will be able to grow and have a future projection for other things like a podcast, where I can talk and share many things or a channel on a sister page of HIVE to show my creative processes, creation of designs or drawings. I am, obeying the reality that we all think, an artist, and a true artist shares his talent with the world. I want very much to inspire and feel inspired, something that I am sure will happen, because in this platform there are many people full of the most wonderful gift that life has given us artists: creativity.
