MEDITATION is a beautiful and effective exercise.Meditation is to the mind while physical exercise is to the
physical body.
It is also a gradual process taken to achieve a certain goal either for healing, to clear the mind, etc.
I am Adebowale, I am going to be giving more details about MEDITATION.
Meditation can take place any where provided that it satisfies the requirements.
So many people don't know how to meditate, they don't understand what it means to meditate. Literally, 60% of a group of population don't know what the word meditation is.
Meditation improves your performance in basically any task, spiritual, physical or mental.
There are processes or steps taken before and after meditation.
The practice is usually done individually for total concentration, in a still seated position, and with eyes closed.
Meditation can last for hours depending on the person.
Here are some general guidelines on the practice:
Posture: you can meditate seated on a cushion or on a chair or on the floor. The essential thing about posture is that the spine is absolutely erect, from the lower back to the neck, and ideally not leaning on anything
Time: The perfect time to meditate is first thing in the morning or last thing in the night, so you don’t skip it, and the impact on your day/night is stronger, but any time that works for you is fine.
Place: a spot where you can sit uninterrupted by anybody.
Ideally a place that is quiet, clean and tidy, in order to create a better influence on the mind.
If you are meditating at home you wear clothes that are suitable or more comfortable to you.
You shouldn't when you are tired or after a stressful day, it wouldn't be effective, it would just lead you to sleep.
Your meditation routine can look like this
Before meditation
.Relax your body and breath, to calm and center yourself
.Gladden the mind with positive feelings
.Have strong intention in your mind
During meditation
. Don’t feel bad about getting distracted cos distractions are bound to happen
.Find delight in the moments of concentration
After meditation
.Move out of meditation gently.
.Take notes in your jotter.
After this processes you can feel the peace from within.
