I continue my trip to Bergama, which is the continuation of my article, in which I described a part of it, namely the Bergama museum, which was our first stop, the other day.
After the museum, we visited the ancient city of Pergamon. An ancient city located at the top of the Bergama district. We went by vehicles to a certain point, then we reached the summit point, which is the heart of the ancient city, by listening to the stories of each point one by one. .
In Pergamon, the settlement was determined according to social classes. The summit point, namely Acropolis, was the region where kings, commanders and high-ranking people lived. The meaning of the name is already describing the people living there 😍 *** means "up town"***.
The people of Pergamum were a society that explored and researched. Today, we use what they started in the fields of science, culture, art and medicine by changing the names and making additions. For example, they obtained paper to write books for their world-famous libraries by using kid leather, they called this kid's skin Pergament, Pergama paper, and over time its name turned into parchment paper.
The ancient theater you see in the photo is the longest ancient theater in the world. I, who have a fear of heights, walked down the half-stairs of this steep theater step by step, my legs trembling. No matter how I bored myself, the trembling of my legs did not go away for the next two days. We took a break for 1 hour from 08:00 in the morning to 17:00 in the evening and walked all the time, I never got tired, but those steep stairs finished me 🙃
I always say that things with a spirit, experiences, ancient places, things attract me and I am very happy to be in the same environment. The history of watching the Pergamon, touching those columns and walking on those roads amongst these gigantic columns that stand up against the centuries with all their majesty dates back to the 4th century BC. Every breath I breathe in this mystical ancient city I am glad that I participated in this beautiful trip.

Geçen gün bir kısmını yani ilk durağımız olan Bergama müzesini anlattığım yazımın devamı olan Bergama gezime kaldığım yerden devam ediyorum.
Müzeden sonra Pergamon antik kentini ziyaret ettik. Bergama ilçesinin tepesinde yer alan bir antik şehir. Belirli bir noktaya kadar araçlarla gittik sonrasında her noktasının teker teker hikayelerini dinleyerek antik kentin kalbi olan zirve noktasına ulaştık, daha önceki yazımda bahsetmiştim neredeyse Pergamon antik kentin tamamını yurt dışına Berlin'e götürmüşler bizler de geride kalan ve hava şartlarına dayanarak yüzyıllardan günümüze var olan kalıntıları gezdik.
Pergamon da yerleşim sosyal sınıflara göre belirleniyormuş. Zirve noktası yani Akropolis Krallar komutanlar ve üst düzey insanların yaşadığı bölgeymiş. Akropolis isminin anlamı “yukarı kent”
Bergamalılar keşfeden araştıran bir toplummuş. Günümüzde onların bilim kültür, sanat , tıp alanında başlattıklarını şeylerin isimleri degiştirip, eklemeler yaparak kullanıyoruz. Örnegin oğlak derisini kullanarak dünyaca ünlü kütüphanelerine kitapları yazmak için kağıt elde etmişler, bu oğlak derisinden yapılan kağıda Pergament yani Bergama kağıdı demişler zamanla ismi parşömen kağıdına dönüşmüş.
Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz antik tiyatro dünyanın en uzun antik tiyatrosudur. Yükseklik korkusu olan ben bu dik tiyatroyu o yarım yamak merdivenlerine bacaklarım titreyerek adım adım basarak indim. Nasıl kendimi sıktıysam sonraki iki gün bacaklarımın titreyisi gecmedi Sabah 08:00 den akşam 17:00 ye kadar 1 saat mola verip hep yürüdük hiç yorulmadım ama o dik merdivenler beni bitirdi 🙃
Hep derim ruhu, yasanmişliklari olan şeyler antik yerler, eşyalar beni çeker ve aynı ortamda olmaktan büyük mutluluk duyarım. Bütün heybetiyle yüzyıllara kafa tutarak ayakta duran bu devasa sütünların arasında bergamayı izlemek, o sütunlara dokunup, o yollarda yürümek tarihi M.Ö 4 yy. dayanan bu mistik antik şehirde soluduğum her nefes beni benden aldı. İyi ki diyorum iyi ki bu güzel geziye katılmışım..
