Have you ever wanted to decompose your world vision? To use a language that requires less effort to use as well after you get the hang of it? (thats why I prefer to post in english rather than ptBR... correct portuguese is a headache)
Toki Pona is a conlang (agglutination of Constructed Language), as well as an artistic language and a Small World language. Envisioned by jan Sonja (or Sonja Lang), and with heavy community contribution.
Main characteristics:
- less than 200 words (121 core words, 137 words in common use, and many words with varied usability)
- words are vague, but rarely ambiguous
- most words can be any part of speech, and there is no conjugation/variation of any kind
- context is royal
Okay, so... how does that looks like?
With a limited inventory of 14 phonemes, syllable structure of CVn, and wuwojiti being banned syllables, its quite easy to learn to speak:
(w and j are what my country call "semi vowels", being consonants that actually sound like u and i)
- mi moku e kasi
- I eat the plant
- We cause the plant to be food
- I feed the plant
Its true that the last two are unlikely interpretations, but the key of this example is that they are possible translations, and might be the intention in some specific context.
Let me know what you think of this kind of posts 😊
how interesting!
I've found this site: https://tokipona.org/
