Este lugar, a dos horas de la ciudad de Maturín, capital del estado Monagas, cuenta con aguas transparentes y una zona rocosa que se presta para la escalada, que ha sido considerada como una de las mejores de Latinoamérica para esta práctica deportiva. Se encuentra ubicado en el sector Miraflores del Parque Nacional El Guácharo. El recorrido de este increible balneario consta de siete cruces del río Guarapiche para llegar hasta lo que son las propias Puertas de Miraflores, en el cual se puede disfrutar de hermosos y refrescantes pozos que se esconden a lo largo del camino, y si no quieren escalar se pueden quedar en el Manantial Azul.

En esta oportunidad que tuvimos de ir no pudimos llegar hasta el ultimo paso, por las recientes lluvias el rio estaba muy crecido y era peligroso llegar hasta el final, igual pudimos disfrutar muchisimo nuestro viaje con familiares y amigos. La verdad es que es un lugar recomendadisimo para ir aca en el estado Monagas, a quienes vayan les sugiero ir preparados con snacks, bebidas, alguna comida, botiquin de primeros auxilios, entre otras cosas de primera necesidad.
