WHAT CRYPTOCURRENCY REALLY IS AND WHAT IT ISN'T
Cryptocurrency, according to investopedia, may be defined as a virtual or digital money/currency that takes the form of tokens or coins. They went further to explain that it is a currency secured by cryptography (an encryption technique, through blockchain), which makes it almost impossible to counterfeit or double-spend.
Cryptocurrency in layman terms simply means a digital asset with a certain value that can be used in place of physical money where accepted.
Cryptocurrency is not a scam.

WHY DO I THINK CRYPTOCURRENCY IS THE FUTURE?
Crypto is here to stay whether we like it or not because it is gradually receiving the global acceptance. The use cases of most of the available cryptocurrencies are so broad that not all of them are being fully utilized. Lots and lots of cryptocurrecies are being developed everyday, lots of jobs are being secured in the cryptocurrency world, lots of millionaires are being made through cryptocurrencies, honestly, the opportunites in the cryptocurrency space are limitless if you ask me.
