RE: 🔥 The Call for Change in the European Parliament 🇪🇺

in GEMSlast month

I don't even know what to say to that.
Probably in an ideal world, religious affiliation should not influence the decisions of politicians, as well as their personal and financial interests. But it would be a really ideal world))))))
I consider myself more of an atheist, although some doctrines have a grain of common sense. And about paganism - these are my ancient roots. My ancestors were pagans before the imposition of Christianity. I do not see anything wrong in it, though I do not adhere to such religious views.
Our ancestors do not always determine us, our future and our actions

Sort:

We ARE Pagans and we survived 2000 years of inquisition, stakes, torture-chambers ...Everything we have today still is Pagan just renamend .. the days of the week, most of them are from Asgard like Tuesday-Tyrsdag, Wednesday-Wodansdag, Thursday-Thorsdag, Friday-Friggadag, Saturday in English and German is Roman Paganism depending on Saturn, Sunday and Monday is clean in all languages, just Odin was kicked out of the German week calling his day Mittwoch, the middle of the week - thats something to work on ;-)
Most of the celebrations of the year are Pagan like Easter-Eostra-Ostara, 1st of May is Beltain, 31.10/1.11 Samhain, "Christmas" Yule and the 12 days between the moon- and the sun-year ... and most of the smaller celebrations between .. we had/have the 4 big ones every 3 months and a smaller one exactly between the 3 months, every 6 weeks - and when my Grandmother was cooking meat she gave us the parts with the fat and told us to "bring out the Wode" the gift for Odins birds, the ravens, to hang the meat in the trees for them ...
We only have to rename everything back -- and can go straight ahead where the killers of our ancestors forced us to deny what we are ....
