World Arm force day celebration in Nigeria

It was a joyful and sorrowful celebration yesterday, being the fifteenth of January two thousand and twenty one. As the celebration of the Arm Forces Day.

The celebration took place in Nigeria, Ekiti state, Ado local government in Kparakpo pavilion. Where the fulling heroes of the Arm Force were remembered. During the ceremony. The major General Yakubu Isah, who explains how the soldiers are being killed by the insurgency ( BOKO HARAM). The soldiers that stand to protect the country. At the ceremony, the governor of Ekiti state, appreciated all the retired and serving military present. It was at the ceremony that the Major General Isah Yakubu, let us understand that, once you pick the form of the Military to join them, you said bye bye to your family, at that point, your life belongs to the military and defending your country, comes first before your life and your family. The joyful part was the fact that our fulling soldiers were at least celebrated.
Present at the occasion was the governor of the state, who stood on behalf of the president of the country, Catholic priest, pastor, the chief imam and retired soldiers.

The religious leaders, prayed for the souls of the filling heroes and the gallant soldiers. The Governor of the state, who stands on behalf of the president, encourages us to always pray for our fulling soldiers and encourages the gallant soldiers to stand firm in defending the country, that the state is solidly behind them. The joyful part of it was the parade , the match pass where soldiers where displaying their matching tallent , two captains who rolled in for a call up party. the band group also gives in their best... My dear Hive members anywhere we are, I think we should, in one way of the other, pray for our soldiers,the fulling ones.May the souls of our fulling soldiers and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.Amen. and for our gallant soldiers, it is our prayer that God Almighty grant you and ur family protection as you protect the nation and the world at large. Not forgetting their wives that God should support and protect them too. For our dear country and the world at large. We pray for peace.

Why is the date of January 15th significant for your Remembrance observances?

In my country they take place on November 11th at 11am as that marks the moment the guns fell silent in World War 1.
