Hello everyone! Today I am going to share a post about my May 2023 bullet journal layout. It is the month of my birthday so it is a little special for me :D I did a pastel theme for this month because I love the soft looking colours and since I used rainbow colours, it gives me flexibility in decorating the layout.
This is my drawing of the outline of the calendar of May.
These are the plain washi tapes I picked for this month. They are a set of rainbow pastel shades.
I wrote the names of the days of the week on all of them. I arranged them in rainbow order.
Now for the fun part, I selected these 4 sets of washi tapes to decorate. I don't buy stickers and instead just buy tapes with images printed on them. That way, I can double most of them up as stickers as well as regular washi decorations.
This is after decorating the whole calendar. I didn't follow a particular theme colour or subject but I included cakes and drinks mostly along with some hearts and cute plants.
I have pasted the names of the 7 days on top. The gel pen takes a while to dry and that;s why I paste them a little later. I also used some glitter pens to write the events of the month which includes the public holidays, festivals, birthdays and anniversaries.
I also did a little 'Notes' section on the right side which is a list of important things I need to get done. I wrote the words in a funny way on purpose. At the bottom, I did a shopping list for things I am going to buy soon. I already get the dress so I checked the box.
I don't like empty spaces on top so I filled them in with some colourful highlighters.
On the left, I wrote the name of the month surrounded by a ton of tiny hearts in different colours.
On the right, I wrote the theme of the month. Two of my best friends are also born in the same month. I think that is why we are quite similar in nature.
This is the final calendar layout of the month. I mainly use this to keep track of some events and I write one line of memory for each day. I have filled the first one in.
