Hello everyone!
I'm finally back home. Phew!! I love traveling but nowhere feels like home. On the way back I had to pass Sekinchan, which is a well known paddy field location in Malaysia. I noticed that they are on the way for a harvest soon and looked so green.
As a bonus there were even some coconut trees and I managed to capture them too. If you like coconut water then watch the sides of the road. There are some stalls that sell fresh coconut water which we can drink straight from the fruit.
This is the exact location. It was Sekinchan but there's a signboard for those who want to make a U-turn and go back to Sitiawan or even further to Lumut. I think thats great as some people who are new to the place may accidentally get there.
Check out the blue sky and more coconut trees! I guess I should paint this someday. It looks beautiful on pictures but it was also so warm as the sun was shining bright.
Can you see the eagle that I captured here? It was flying in distance. These areas do have many eagles flying around and if we drive a little further there are places that offer eagle feeding tour.
See how vast the area is. They also have shops here where we can buy the locally harvested rice. On top of that, people who are interested to learn more about the different types of rice being harvested here can check out the Paddy Museum here.
As you can see there's a pathway for cars to enter into the paddy field area. This is actually a popular tourist spot and many people go to take pictures especially during certain seasons. This is probably a few weeks before the harvest so it is aesthetically perfect to take beautiful pictures. My family and I have been there a few times so we skipped it this time.
This region of the paddy looked yellowish so i guess they will be harvested soon.
