Hi guys, bitter kola is two faced by being both beneficial and harmful to the health, I would be explaining its beneficial aspect in the first part.
The beneficial aspect comes first because I love hearing good news before the bad one. Well that’s beside the way, bitter kola known scientifically as Garcinia kola this plant has its natural habitat as the Tropical moist lowlands or Subtropical forests.
The beneficial and harmful aspects of bitter kola can be linked to the various vitamins, minerals or chemical constituents present in it, such as ; Vit A, Vit C, Vit E, Vit B1, Vit B2, Vit B3, Fibre, Calcuim, Potassium, Iron, Tanin, Saponium, Phyticacid, alkanoid and so on.
The benefits of bitter kola health wisely
Ease digestion : The bitter kola extracts promotes the production of Gastric acid leading to the effectiveness of digestive enzymes thereby easing digestion.
Treatment of Migraines : Theobromine and Caffeine present in bitter kola helps in the treatment of migraines that affects the blood vessels in the head by widening or dilating the blood vessels thereby reducing the migraine pain.
Poison Detoxification : The intake of the bark and seed together detoxifies various poisonous substances in the human body.
Sexual potency : Bitter kola works wonders when it comes to sexual performance especially in men, it also increases ones sex drive.
For good effectiveness chew the bitter kola 2 minutes before any sexual activity.
As an Anti-malaria : it’s chemical constituents especially Kolviron and Phytochemicals that are high in anti malaria properties makes Pharmacognocist and traditional healers say it is a good anti malaria.
Improves the lung : Ingestion of bitter kola strengthens the fibers and tissues of the lungs and maintains the respiratory tracts .

Improvement of the immune system : Due to the presence of large amounts of antioxidants in bitter kola helps in the fight against bacteria and other infections thereby improving the body immune system.
A study in the Journal of Bioscience and Medicines proves that bitter kola extracts stops growth of harmful bacteria.
Asthma : Caffeine in bitter kola acts as Bronchodilator thereby making breathing easy by opening the airways.
Helps the pregnant woman in various ways by making the uterus healthier, normalizing blood circulation, help fight against vomiting and nause.
