It is one of my favourite Xmas carols I myself have a cover of it (very different on youtube). Did you know it's an Ukrainian traditional that had nothing to do with Xmas but a bird foretelling the riches after winter. I think it's beautiful

I assumed something like that since my producer is Russian and he said it was a traditional song. Didnt know it was Ukrainian.

Yes, It's one I love so thanks, the original title Shchedryk, it's based on a pre-christian chant but then it was made into a song called "bountiful evening" about a bird singing about the riches after winter. I love the progression it's really great :)
