So I want to try to show you this little process that I had to do this painting of Hogwarts from a month ago, and as maybe most of you know the story, since it is about the school from JK Rowling's Harry Potter books, and personally this is one of my favorite stories in the world.

Bueno, como sigo en el proceso de mejorar y aprender nuevas tecnicas en cuanto a la pintura, porque todavia no tengo un buen dominio. Asi que quiero tratar de mostrarles este pequeño proceso que tuve al realizar esta pintura de Hogwarts de hace un mes, y como tal vez la mayoria conozca la historia, ya que se trata del colegio de los libros de Harry Potter de J.K Rowling, y personalmente es una de mis historias favoritas en el mundo.
I started with a sketch on a canvas that was previously used with another paint, but this one was already very worn and discolored, so I cleaned the surface a bit and added white paint, (but, I made the mistake of not sanding the linen before , I'll keep this in mind when I reuse another canvas)

Un paso basico o común cuando se realiza un paisaje o lugares al aire libre se empieza por el fondo, en este caso es el cielo, y de nuevo remarque el boceto del castillo. Luego de terminar el fondo continue por ir colocando las primeras capas de pintura en la zona de las rocas, e ir agragandole los detalles poco a poco. Este tipo de textura como el de las rocas, el agua o detalles del cielo, para mi todavia es un poco complicado de realizar
Finally I continued in the part of the castle, by the reference I used, you can see that it has a structure made of stone, so it took me a while to do the details, since it is a view from afar and from the bottom up, and with this , the details will be much smaller.

Most of the color palette was shades of brown and gray, the background was blue, and when finished, the underside of the rocks was covered in trees throughout the frame.
