It's me again @zionazrael and I will share my 3rd Original Alien Art creation.

Have you seen the Alien Hivean? well here it is, I created this art as part of my contribution to the Alien Art Hive Community My inspiration to this art is basically Hive blockchain and or the Hive token and the word "Hivean" that sounds Alien for me😅.

ART PROCESS

SKETCH AND OUTLINE

First step is making a rough sketch of My idea and refine it by outlining. My first Idea was a Bitcoin symbol on the coin ,But as I am making this art I figured it is better to put the #Hive Logo in.

COLORING

As for my coloring technique or process it always begin with the base color then putting the shadows and highlights for the final touches.

Face Base color

This is the Base Color I chose for the face and eyes, I want to make it look like a little blue green color but since the face part is going to be lighter color because of my idea of the Shining coin at the top of it that Why I chose a light blue color as the base.

This part I made Screenshot of my work so I can focus the view on the face
First is applying some shadows and followed by the highlights I added the green color as a finishing touch on the part of the shadows.

HANDS

The next thing I did was coloring the Hands, Same procedure as before I also made the color of this part similar to the face because I of its position.

BODY

Then I colored the Body, This time the color should be darker because of the perspective view of my subject will look better this way.

Then I followed by putting some highlights and the Shadow of its body on the bottom.

Hive coin and Final Touches

After doing the coloring on the body, I followed by coloring the tentacles, My Idea here to make it look like it still have a to small feet attached to the tentacles.

Then I Colored the Hive coin, The coloration of this part is very important to provide a support to the highlights I put on the other parts of the body the perspective is also a bid part of this art. I also added a little blurred light yellow color at the bottom of the coin to illustrate the lights coming form it.

Hive symbol or Logo, I am still a beginner with this kind of art and putting the a proper view of the hive logo while respecting the position of the coin is a hard for me, I hope you like it though.

BACKGROUND

I made a blurred background to emphasized my subject, I put a dark green color at the bottom and light blue coloration on random places to make it look more abstract.

FINAL OUTCOME

After all the final touches made and the background this is the final outcome of my Original Alien Art #ILLUSTRATION.

Seeing the outcome of this art make me feel Like I improved a lot on my work, But I know I still have a lot to learn and improve.
