New CHARY Price
It is more or less the old price.
But for the first time, there was a buffer last month, so that the price didn't shrink below 0.06 HIVE/CHARY.
I backed it up by buying 10.000 CHARY at 0.06 HIVE/CHARY. But there was money left and I ordered 5000 CHARY for 0.07 and further 10000 CHARY for 0.08 HIVE/CHARY
So, now is enough money in the system to keep the price stable and to be sure, that it does not go under 0.06 HIVE/CHARY for the next month.
All in all it is about 200 US Dollar.
Handling abusers
Chary Commuznity Abusers.
There are some people using the system to take out money and we are not sure, if they are just spammers/abusers or if they really do good things to people. I mean, how can we proof, if someone just takes some fotos and videos from a charity worker somewhere out there at the rim of the world and claims that they are from himself.
He has earned a lot of CHARY in the past and he staked also a lot of it - That's totally legal and within the rules of this system.
Now he is upvoting himself and therefor earning more. That is not fine and we can downvote him for this. Maybe this would nurture him.This is our old and still most important problem in the chary system. The discussion came up with @horpey's post
For example @hakeemshah96. He posts a lot of charity content, which I cannot proof if this is really from him or not.
I have created the chary system as a playground for this way of donating. If we get our trust problem under control, then this kind of system will progress and we may get more sponsors. If it fails, then we know, that this way of donating is a dead end, and I will spend my money smarter (namely direct to people I can trust).
So let us see if we as a community can nurture the abusers or not. I need the help of you, otherwise it is a one man show with me as the man in the middle.
Monitoring Chary
In the last few month you didn't hear a lot from me. That is because Chary is my hobby and I work on it, when I have the time and desire to do it.
But I was also working in the background. I have started a server on Amazon Web Services and installed Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana on it. I started from scratch and had to learn a lot. Now I am able to upload logfiles there. My goal is, to see who is earnig which amount of HIVE with CHARY in an easy way.
For the one who is interested, here an example:

Here on the posivite list (formerly known as whitelist, but I don't like the word because of the conotation white=good, so I changed it) are the people, that convinced me to support them. It is just my personal list:

What is CHARY?
Chary is a subtoken of Hive (like the beercoin). One can exchange it on the Hive-Engine.
When you use the hashtag "chary" and get upvoted by people, that have staked CHARY, you will get some CHARY.
But you only will get upvotes, when you write about your charity project, where you give us a good proof of charity. This means, we need pictures, where we can see, that people in need are really helped by you.
So please don't abuse the hashtag.

der Mißbrauch deines Tokens wird wahrscheinlich sehr schwer zu kontrollieren sein.
Das ist sehr schade, wird aber wahrscheinlich am Ende darauf hinauslaufen,
daß der Chary scheitert, was sehr sehr schade ist.
Aber eine andere Möglichkeit ist vielleicht wirklich die Charity-Community.
Die Projekte kann man dann dort vorstellen und wer die Projekte fördern möchte,
kann das ja auch direkt machen, indem man ein paar Hive etc. schickt.
Ich habe in der letzten Zeit wenig Chary, aber viel Hive bekommen.
Das hat uns oder besser gesagt, der Familie, deren neues Haus wir gerade bauen sehr geholfen.
Außerdem gab es einige, die uns unterstützt haben mit Euros aufs paypal-Spendenkonto.
Das sind zwar nur wenige Leute, aber es hilft enorm und wir sind sehr dankbar!
Traurig ist, daß du soviel Arbeit damit hast und dann natürlich Frust aufkommt....

Danke für die Antwort.
Ich bin nicht gefrustet. Chary ist ein Experiment und ich investiere dort gerne Zeit und Geld, in dem Rahmen, den mir mein Alltag zur Verfügung stellt. Es ist Neuland und ich finde es spannend.
Auch glaube ich, dass es gar nicht so schlecht läuft.
Wir diskutieren hier und es gibt Fortschritte. Ich glaube nämlich, dass die meisten hier keine Betrüger sind, sie müssen sich nur an ein paar Regeln halten.
Dass die Charity Community funktioniert freut mich sehr.
Dir und deiner Familie wünsche ich auch (trotz der Umstände) schöne Weihnachten!

Thank you for your interest in charity on Hive topics.
Selvoting is ugly and greedy. Yes a lot of people do it (I did it also at the beginning), but that is no excuse.
We have to get clean gamerules in the chary system otherwise this experiment will end. The sponsors want to give their money to charity projects and not to freeloaders.
So please do not upvote yourself (when you use the #chary hashtag).
Upvoting good charity content helps us to support the right people snd projects, so if you do that, it would help.

First of all thanks for responding to my post. You're a good humanitarian, thank you very much, sir.
If we cannot be sure if a user or project is real or fake then Chary is not working the way it's intended to be. There are many ways a charity platform auditioned projects for verification and there are certain stages a charity project must have attained to get their support. For example, the projects you listed on the Whitelist are real with good prospects.
My point is that we can be 95% sure if a user is real or just a spammer by asking for proof either in a video if we find anything suspicious.
@dfacademy downvoted Hakeem for his shits and responded by downvoting back. I implore you to set up some refs for the tribe. And there are many non-charity related posts using the chary tag and earning Chary token.
I don't have grudge against anyone but if things continue like this without proper supervision of the tribe then Chary is not working and spammers will be ripping off the platform.
You're the only one donating your own hard-earned money and wouldn't make sense for spammers to be ripping it off. You've put much work into the Chary tribe and continues to donate money. Thank you for doing these!
TLDR; Set up users with a great stake to downvote spammers and non-Chary posts and also a blacklist for constant abuse to save the Chary tribe.

My wife and I we have big voting power and I can enhance it easiely. But I think it is a Community topic and we don't want to be too dominant.

Of course they can self-vote their own article but not comment. No self-voting of comment or their alt account comment! And I will say that their has to be a maximum of two charity articles per user daily. Not capping it down will lead to some users posting like 10 articles daily and self voting them.

Please write some guidelines and pin it in the tribe. Any user who doesn't follow the guidelines should be downvoted and if the abuse persists put the user in blacklist.

I like chary community and looking forward to its improvement
For Hakeem he is not self voting his own comment alone but also voting his alt spam accounts as I have pointed out. Meanwhile he's also on HiveWatcher blacklist. These account are suspicious, you can see at a glance.
Self voting every comment is a great abuse by the so called Hakeem! It won't save the economy which mean he doesn't care about it if you continue to allow this. Imagine every user doing the shits he's doing!!!
I am not a spammer, I just post original, trusted, not-for-profit charity sites and I review the for-profit sites that are doing well.

Please don't upvote your self or other accounts from you any more. This leads to mistrust into you and the chary system.
Earning CHARY and selling or staking is ok, therefore it was made.
If you forward the earnings to the poor people, then you make them and us happy.
But beeing greedy is not wanted. Be happy with that what others give.
I believe you. I have seen some movies from you and if this person is you, then I think the CHARYs are in good hands.
Here is a proposal to give us more trust:
Create a 1-2 minute video where you explain who you are and what you do with the CHARY token.
