So tell me, have you been able to purchase things straight from your Hive Keychain to an eftpos machine or by using the Bitrefill yet like McSamm and Collinz are doing in Ghana (and others around the world)?
No, as you can imagine this is a charity project account and we don't use it for anything different.
In my personal account I didn't ever used it to purchase anything.... it's a long term savings investment.

Yeah I do realise that it's a charity account, but if you needed to pay for anything for the charity, are you able to do so from the Hive keychain over there?
And I know the feeling. At first I was so excited to learn that I could actually use it to spend, but then I remembered that it's meant to be my little nest egg to build up too, so now I have to try to forget that it can (somehow) be done! 🤣
As far as I know you first need to convert it to FIAT before you can purchase anything or pay something in real life. I'm, of caourse, meaning usual things or services that you may need.
Yes I did that once a few years ago as a test and have forgotten how to do it again now...lol... but I saw people on the Hivefest Mexico scanning a barcode from an eftpos machine right from their keychain app, so I was just wondering that's all.
And the more that I have thought about it, the more I want to forget about it because I want to keep it in here and keep building it up anyway...So it's all good- especially if you want to do the same thing too.
