This looks like the kind of place I would enjoy spending the day at. I am going to have to keep it on my list for if we ever make it out to the East Coast. I think it still looks kind of scary in color too!

Lots of walking. A little Williamsburg like without the actors and actresses all dressed up. Neat for a day trip. They do have festivals and things like that out here from time to time. We took a small self guided tour of the interior.. They do a decent job of preserving things but you can tell the money is tight.
Oh really? No actors and stuff? Those always make things a bit interesting. Sometimes they can be annoying though. We never did any of this stuff when I was on the East coast as a kid. We did do Mystic Seaport in Connecticut and that was cool. We also did Battleship Cove in Mass.
