Today I brought to the table six photos I took almost one year ago, last May. I found myself in a proper mood for some photo editing, stumbled upon said folder (the event took place at the Fencer's Day festival at St. Petersburg), and I left it with having some double and triple takes processed in Photoshop - exactly the stuff to share in this community. Hope you like my selection, and on my side - I always appreciate your opinions and fave picks. 🐈

(Actually, this one was staged... I did not direct the model, but we posed me, and smiled like mad having massive lulz while I was making my captures - god knows why!).

Monochrome conversion here is very convincing ... but still, colour version is so good and in its own right, that I cant choose one for sure. Which you would vote for?

At the velodrome. Here without any hesitation, I go for monochrome version. Damn convincing!

And the last experiment for today. In this case I go with the colour version, it seems to me more convincing. (And monochrome is weak, not juicy at all). And what about you?

I like black and white photos much more than colour photos, but I understand that it's also important that they match the message you want to convey.
And black and white is better to concentrate on very specific things, because not having colour avoids distractions.
True! absolutely so.
Depends also on the nature of the object, its textures, white and black area balance. A lot of visual things. Some of these look better in color. When you shoot something that has low contract but splendid color nuances (like,,,, picturesque sunset?..) it goes better in color, right?

Hahaha ... Well, my vote has so little value that I don't pay attention to its weight. I try to vote for a lot of people I like and their content and spread it around. And I try not to let my mana go below 80. But today I got out of hand.
I have wanted to write about it for a long time.
If you notice I give a symbolic number in the weight of my vote. I like numerology. It's a weird person's thing, I mean, me, you know. 😄
