Birds in Motion.

Photography like anything else has its learning flied and although you may think you know it all you never stop learning with photographing objects in motion has been one of the hardest aspects in photography for me and sure most would agree I am still till this day trying to perfect motion photography.

Although I will say I got a lot of practice and learned a lot from my colleagues on my many safari expeditions the bigger birds of course are a bit easy to capture then the much smaller birds they are as bad as trying to capture butterflies.

I did enjoy photographing these huge Vulture they look like a massive Eagle only uglier these Vultures can have wingspans from 1.3 – 1.7 meters and more depending on the species and their lifespan they can live from 10 years to 30 years again depending on the species.

The equipment used was all Nikon. Early shots with a D70, later shots with 2 x D3 bodies.
