The weather in our region has been very good for the past two days.Spring is slowly fading away and summer is slowly approaching and the heat is approaching.However the weather for the two days is very calm because there is no heat and no excessive cold.But at this time we sometimes feel a cold wind.The sky has been cloudy since yesterday and I noticed drizzles of rain at night.Yes this weather is the favorite weather of millions of Bengalis.This kind of weather reminds me of my childhood.This is our Bengali month of Chaitra and these months are our favorite.Because at this time, all the juicy fruits start appearing on the trees.
The new Bengali year will begin after the month of Chaitra.As the month of Baishakh begins, the weather will change again.When there is extra sunlight in the month of Chaitra, everyone hopes for rain.Because rain at this time is a blessing from God.If it rains at this time, the fruits of the trees will be good and the air pollution outside will be prevented.As children, we used to pray to God for abundant rain to get rid of the excessive sunlight of the month of Chaitra.During the month of Chaitra, the flowers of summer fruit trees appear on the trees and those flowers need rainwater to survive.
So at this time we pray for rain. Rain at this time is a blessing for nature all around.And this is the month of Chaitra.Yes in this month of Chaitra, we pray for rain to get rid of excess sunlight, to kill dust and to make the fruits grow.We have had the weather we were hoping for for the past two days.
It rained drizzling last night and it rained drizzling during the day today.There was no sunlight all day and it was a peaceful weather.Even as I write this, I can hear the sound of rain on the tin shed.The rain last night and the cloudy weather during the day made this afternoon beautiful.When I went outside today, I saw that the dust had died down, which was very nice to see.So I would say that it was an incredible afternoon.Our community loves afternoons like this and when it rains in the evening, everyone enjoys time indoors.
