Anytime I accomplish something meaningful for the day, I feel really proud of myself. Apart from taking time to do a thorough clean up in my room today, I also was able to complete some outfits at my workplace and of course engage in a cleanplanet activity.
As a fashion designer, one quality that you ought to possess is the ability to pay proper attention and be careful..
Careful in what sense?
- Care will make a fashion designer recheck his measurements when cutting a fabric so he doesn't make any mistake.
- A fashion designer takes proper care of his working tools.
- During the course of his sewing, a fashion designer pays close attention to his stitches so he can be able to make a neat and presentable outfit.
- A fashion designer takes care to regulate his iron when necessary so that the cloth will come out nice.
One fabric to be especially careful with is a white material because of how quick it is in absorbing moisture.
One process I engage in before sewing a white material is to clean my machine thoroughly from dust and wash my hands after. And when I'm about to iron it, I use a clean white pieces that can allow the heat from the iron to easily penetrate to the main outfit. it makes the cloth come out neat and
nice after the ironing.
Being careful also applies to the way we treat our city. We take time not to be enemies of our environment by contributing the much we can. We pay close attention to our environment and notice when it deserves a cleaning activity. Carefulness will also make us try using hand gloves or better still wash our hands thoroughly after a cleaning exercise to avoid contracting diseases from the dirts.
For sure, we really need to be careful and take good care of our city. Just like the outcome of a well designed outfit brings joy, So do we feel when we look around and observe how tidy where we have cleaned looks.
After work today, I did some cleaning exercises starting from the stairs in our busy building down to the Streets. I packed them all in my disposable waterproof (nylon) and disposed of the refuse. I'm happy that even as it's already too late to drop the dirts considering the stipulated time, i was able to dispose it as I met one of the agents sweeping the dirts that littered the big container, he allowed me drop it and I headed home.
