Good morning, friends of the cleanplanet community. And around the world, how are you all this morning? I hope you all had a wonderful night rest and are up and ready for todays activities.
So guys, my day today, just like any other day, started with me getting up from bed early and getting a few things done in the house before heading outside.
Yesterday on the 19th of January 2025 approximately 4:05pm from Aba,Obingwa local government area,Abia State Nigeria the first rains 🌧 of the year dropped down🥳🥳,i was so happy and surprised seeing the rains and also upset cause out of all days it was today,early yesterday i had a meeting fixed by 4pm and was an important meeting to attend to the rains nearly runied my plans but wasnt successfully.
The first rains are really important cause vegetations and animals have waited long enough for the dry seasons to come to an end, and without any information or rained today, i can almost hear the happy tidings of the plants and animals rejoicing cause i can say so for my snails.
During the dry seasons my snails all covered them selves with with materials made from their bodies and went underground and i knew it was time to stop watering them i havent watered them for over 2 months now and thats the firsf water the are getting ever since and the all rose up from the ground all healthy i counted about 225 before the hibernated but counted counted 216 now quite a loss but covered with some eggs all over the farm.
There regular feeding sequence would begin this morning as the need to pack up their weights,getting out this morning some snails wandered off because all through the dry seasons i left the enclosure open as the were inactive this morning i had to close it before i loose more snails.
I cleaned my neighbouring street and cleared up all trash and disposed them properly.
