Good day dear friends of the #cleanplanet community. I hope we are having a happy week😊.
Since school resumed, my consistency in posting on Hive has actually been affected in some ways, especially the consistency in engagement with my cleaning activities.
While checking up my notifications yesterday, I found out that I was tagged by a friend to participate in the #cleanplanet biweekly contest present round with the prompt, “Best Christmas and New Year Experience”. I wanted to begin writing on the prompt yesterday night but it was already late because for every prompt, I try my best to attach cleaning activity photos, so I had to postpone my entry for the contest till this evening.
One of the things I don't joke with is my cleaning activity because I know its importance generally. This morning, I was able to move the streets to carry out my cleaning activity. I decided to do my cleaning activity in the morning before leaving for school because the street would take a better look as passerbys move past their destination. The second reason being that I don't actually know what time I would be returning home from school, probably late in the evening when it's almost getting dark, so it was better I did the cleaning exercise in the morning. So I did my cleaning activity in the morning, stored the photos for the prompt write-up this evening since time was against me in the morning.
Talking about my best Christmas and New Year Experience, I would go for the Chicken Slaughter moment and the Cross over night time.
So for the Christmas period, we celebrated our Christmas with a Chicken. Due to the high price of things in the country, we didn't go for goat meat this season. In my family, only my Dad and I don't fear domestic birds. So during the slaughter of the fowl, my Dad mishandled it and the fowl escaped and ran into the veranda.
Everyone in the house put on their chasing shoes. Guess what, it took us more than 30 minutes before we could capture the fowl. Some people even sustained injuries because the fowl was so quick and crafty, lol.
For the new year, it was wow!!!!
The Cross Over night service made the new year memorable for me. Though I didn't travel to my hometown, I still had a lot of fun in the city. The Cross Over service was filled with great joy and happiness as everyone danced out their happiness for having the opportunity to see a new year.
After that service, we had several prayer sessions and at the end, we had another praise section where we danced till we ran out of sweat, lol. The service ended by 2:00 am in the morning but no one wanted to go home, everyone wanted to dance more.
This just concluded the Christmas and New Year period was a great one indeed.
As I just shared my Christmas and New Year experience, I also want to share my cleaning activity as well.
Here are the photos of my cleaning activity. This is cleanplanet community, cleaning must be done, lol.
Thanks friends for stopping by. Enjoy your day friends!!!
