Last Saturdays of every month are being mapped out as environmental Saturdays in my city. Citizens are encouraged to come out in groups or individually to participate in various cleaning activities to keep the environment clean. This exercise helps to enhance the beauty and cleanliness of many public areas. It also promotes a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
This morning, I contributed to cleaning up one of the streets around my environment. Because of this harmattan season, wind carries a lot of dirts and dust around thereby littering even areas that have been cleaned up. Below are some pictures I took while at it👇
After packing up the dirts, I disposed it in a waste bin. I always feel good cleaning up my environment because a clean environment brings about a healthy living.
