Honestly, I don't see gambling as a crime if you ask me. In fact, I really don't see much difference in gambling and trading. It's all about risking. I even believe that gambling is easier than trading.
The truth is, some people are real lovers of sports, and they can easily predict the team that is going to win a game or how the game is going to go. Even the popular musician Drake is a gambler, and he makes a whole lot of money from gambling.
From what I've noticed so far, I think gambling is being tagged badly, mostly because many people are too selfish. You want to use #10 to win #100,000,000. Why? That's being too selfish. Am I saying it's not possible? No!. But that's for people that are really good at it.
The honest truth is, I've come across a whole lot of people who have in one way or another made a lot of money from gambling and are doing well for themselves. Gambling is a field on its own that I believe so well that if a person looks closely into it, he or she can attain that success level they want for themselves.
That's my belief generally about life. If you're being able to give your all into a particular thing, and you're consistent with it and also devoted to it, then you can attain that level of success you seek as a person. That's just the truth.
You want to earn a lot from that field, and you are not doing research about it. A lot of people call gambling a game of luck, while I personally don't see it that way. Because if you know that field so well and you're not being too selfish, I believe deeply that you will surely earn well there.
It's just you knowing what to do right. Just imagine me being a fan of Barcelona and Manchester City. Imagine Manchester City Club playing with Manchester United. I can literally give my all into it that Manchester City will flog Manchester United so well without thinking otherwise.
That's because I know for sure that from the past records, Manchester City has always been a good team. They will definitely mess with Manchester United. We are all aware of how less we used to see Chelsea during those days.
Literally any club could beat up Chelsea that year. And that was mainly because their team was weak. Imagine seeing a match whereby Barcelona is to face Chelsea.
Do you think I wouldn't pick Barcelona over Chelsea? Of course I will, and it's just so certain that Barcelona is going to win the game with no stress attached. So that's exactly how it is.
Although it has had both positive and negative impacts and influences on individuals, communities, and societies. Here are a few tips:
Positive aspects:
- Entertainment: Gambling can be a form of entertainment for some people. For example, people that watch boxing and other games.
- Social benefits: Some forms of gambling, like lotteries, can support charitable causes.
Negative aspects:
Addiction: Gambling can always lead to addiction, financial problems, and mental health issues. Balancing it up is best.
Financial risks.
Balancing it up is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Responsible gambling:
- Regularizing How Often You Play: Effective regulation can help minimize harm and ensure fair practices.
- Education: raising awareness about gambling risks and responsible gaming practices is needed.

The problem with betting is sure the negative part and considered not good when one starts going extra length to bet like borrowing money or using school fee and it mostly begin as something of just fun then it escalate to another thing.

To some extent, I agree with your inputs but, the main reason I see gambling as a bad thing is it's addiction. I have seen what gambling has done to people just because they got addicted loosing control of their finances to the extent of selling off their valuable assets to satisfy their gambling cravings.
