I don't know if it's just me but does anyone else sometimes feel they are doing a lot but barely doing anything? It's like you're working yourself out and at the end of it all, you barely scratched the surface. This is me right now. I've had a couple of projects from work to finish up since the past week, I've gotten to some considerable point, yet I still feel like something's missing, maybe I'm not working hard enough or doing the right thing?.
This has been going on for sometime, so today I decided I was going to do a personal review to figure out if I was actually making progress or not, just to be sure I wasn't self sabotaging. I looked at what I had done so far from the scratch and it was something. Additionally, the project I was given to work on was something I haven't tried or done before so at least I could give myself a little credit for getting this far
Next up, was clearing stating how the rest of the project is going to run till the finish. Apparently, when you don't divide your tasks, you might feel a little overwhelmed because you're doing everything and still doing nothing. From tomorrow, I'm going to start with a small task and aim at finishing it. By the end of the day, I'll know I did something productive. By productive, let's take a look at my cleaning activity for the day. A day is never wasted if it's spent on cleaning the environment.
