My Two Pillars

While some persons have chosen to be our enemies, others have turned out to be our blessings in disguise. They are the people we can run to for comfort likewise trust them with some of our secrets without it getting to the ears of a third party.

Personally for me I don't have so many favorite people because of past betrayals and all that, but then over the years few people have indeed proven to me that the world still has good people and one of such is my bestie. Salome is not just a friend or a favorite person to me, she has become a sister to me over time. We merely just started as church members and nothing more but gradually we've grown to not just be church members nor friends but like I earlier said sisters. Our journey was never a smooth one from initial and it seems we won't get to the level we are today because the road was indeed rough. Countless times I have disappointed her but when I thought she would leave with the fact she's older than me but no one would ever know cause I look older, she still stayed and we both made the relationship work.

She's someone I can lean on and you know on different occasions I have traveled out of town for a long period of time and you know what? I was actually thinking we would part ways since we no longer see often just like it has happened with some persons but no, it never happened. With her, I knew that girl to girl we can have a long talk via phone call for houry and still not get tired. Truly she's my favorite best girl in fact I have stamped it already that she's gonna be my maid of honor on my wedding day and nothing is going to change it by God's grace.

My second favorite person is none other than my beloved blood brother. Guys, I love this guy like there is no tomorrow. I no longer see him as my immediate younger brother as sometimes I look at him and see strength, the care and guidance of a father figure in him. Countless times he has advised me and taught me things I wonder where he got all the wisdom from like some people would say a child that grew up with older people around would be so knowledgeable and full of wisdom but this guy here never grew up with any elder except for our parents that we grew up together with yet an embodiment of wisdom. The person I am becoming today is all thanks to his counsel that I am grateful for.

I could go on and on talking about my brother because he's truly the best. Everyone and I mean everyone would want to have him as their brother but sorry guys....his already mine, and I thank God for that.😊

Also I ensured to clean my environment today despite the fact it had been a stressful day for me.
