We have finally come to the beginning of the new year 2025, a year full of maximum amazing things. This year we will all prosper and remain alive to see it's end as well, Amen. Every first day of the year I go to church and today's mass in the catholic church I attend was awesome. Immediately after the mass ended I quickly turned on my camera so that I can take pictures of some waste I picked on the ground.
The church premises was very dirty as a result of the large number of people that were present yesterday during the new year eve mass. I heard that after the mass ended some people were shooting bangers and firecrackers. Everywhere was so noisy because of the joy of entering 2025. This morning nobody bothered to pick the waste on the ground but am glad I got the opportunity to do so.
The mass ended 9:30am and I was very busy that's why I didn't pick the waste until 9:56am and I started with packs of bangers, like i said at the beginning of this post, alot of people bought bangers yesterday night and shot them happily, throwing away the packs on the ground. I picked the two of them and kept them in the small black nylon I picked first.
I went ahead to pick a transparent nylon next, I don't know how it was there but I think someone bought something and after making use of it the person threw the nylon they used to keep the product, on the ground. I kept it immediately inside the black nylon and moved ahead.
I came across a plastic water can which was the first and only plastic product I picked today. I captured it with my itel S18 camera before picking it, I struggled to put it inside the black nylon because the nylon is smaller than the plastic can but at least it managed to enter.
At the opposite side i saw a biscuit paper and decided to pick it as well even if is too small, the main thing was just to ensure that I pick every waste and keep my surrounding clean. I kept it peacefully inside the black nylon because is not as big as the other plastic can that took me more seconds to successfully put it inside the nylon.
The last thing I picked was another biscuit paper, i must confess that some little children ate biscuits yesterday night, maybe after eating the biscuits they drank water, lol. I took pictures of it as well and kept it inside the nylon then I headed straight to the church waste bin which is very big. I took a selfie of myself with the black nylon before I took another selfie of myself keeping it inside the waste bin.
I washed my hands immediately I was done and I was impressed with myself for doing a good job. I headed straight to the house to spend sometime with my family. Is a new year and is very important that we keep our planet clean, don't forget that Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
