Just like my title portrays, we did some farm work today. I missed my cleaning activity yesterday because we had to drop my brother off at school since they began their mid term break last week Wednesday and were expected to return to school Sunday yesterday.Good day dear friends of the #cleanplanet community.
Then this morning after carrying out some house chores, we embarked on intensive farm work since the rainy season is approaching. The major plant we cultivate on our farmland is the cassava. The reason we plant cassava majorly on farmland is because cassava could be processed to obtain many products like garri(cassava flakes), starch, flour and African salad.
So we engaged in a clearing exercise today. So we majorly focused on clearing the farmland against soil tilling. Probably by next rainfall we will be tilling the soil.
So after we had concluded the farm work I decided to clean up myself and have some rest before going to do my cleaning activity for today.
My cleaning activity was done along the street leading from my gate to the primary school. Along the street where some burnt trash. I picked both the unburnt ones and some partially burnt ones then I left the burnt ones to decay.
After gathering the trash and putting them in the bag I observed that the street was looking cleaner than before and that is the essence of this cleaning exercise.
I've come to discover that this cleaning activity that every member of the cleanplanet carries out is not just for us to share on Hive but the activity also goes a long way to making the community and the street we live look tidy.
