Hello community, I want to share a "Walk" to the "urbanization where a friend lives, she asked me to accompany her to throw out the garbage and I found this garbage dump in the middle of the neighborhood.
I would lie to you if I told you that I had never been to a garbage dump... but... in middle of urbanization?
Anyway, after my initial shock I began to notice that the place is a kind of workplace. There are people who go with carts to collect cans and all kinds of scrap metal to sell. The surrounding houses are a kind of mini fields, very clean by the way, the people have everything fenced off and there are crops of corn, mango trees, cassava, etc. Which in. my country is known as "conuco".
The animals that you see in the photos have an owner and are well fed, they are affectionate, at the end of the road I could see a bus line. Contrary to what you might think.
The smell was not nauseating, but the people there burn their garbage often and that pollutes a lot. There were shirtless and barefoot children, which I avoided portraying. Those cliffs what do they see at. In the end they are "gullies", they look beautiful, but the reality is that every day between the garbage and excessive burning, there have been landslides that have left many people homeless and have caused deaths. The terrain begins to disappear to give way to these species of craters.
Smoke from toxic materials such as plastic, rubber, asphalt, is very common. In my country there is currently no competent body that deals with these residues.
People do what they can with what they have.

sadly we don't have access to "Public trashcan", so as I said people burn out the garbage instead. I took home some things to recicle.
