Good evening people of Cleanplanet. I hope you all had a productive day .
I felt exhausted after school today, and all I did was study when I got home after school today. It’s quite unimaginable, but at the time, my brain was totally cooked, and my body just wanted to fold up. Yet, there was a small voice in me telling me to follow my Clean Planet regime despite the soreness I felt deep inside me. But this tiredness was not going to deter me. Therefore, I took a small waste bag and went around my street to clean it.
I stood with the powerful glare of a single beam of light from my phone flashlight, which I used to light the yard around in the evening; I collected snack wrappers and small pieces of litter along the lanes. Consequently, as I added every single item I gathered, it became emotional and lighter to carry around with me. I could tell that by tidying up my environment I was washing out any stress I had picked from school.
It wasn’t a big cleanup, but it was enough to make a difference, and all of this made me feel better. It is those few steps that make a big difference, changing the hardship on a positive note. The pictures below 👇 explains how I accomplished today's activity.
When I was finished, my energy was up, and I was glad knowing that I had done my part in ensuring that the street was clean even though I had felt so weak a while back. The best part? This decision relieved me, and I returned home with my head clearer than it had been in days, hopefully to face tomorrow.
