Jogging happens to be my favourite sports activity. I
go out to jog every morning. Before 5 am, I am already hitting the street. Jogging from one point to another and before 6:30 am, I am already home. Jogging helps keep me fit and also makes me healthy and defeating sickness of any kind. It's over two years I have never fallen sick and this is attributed to the fact that I exercise regularly by jogging. The common sicknesses in my area are malaria and typhoid, many others have incidentally lost their lives and loved ones as a result of these deadly diseases. Malaria is caused by a parasite from mosquitoes and living in a dense area with great bodies of water we happen to have lots of mosquitoes and no matter how you try to prevent them from biting, they still have their ways. Therefore, going out every morning to jog gives me an edge over this parasite and no matter how I am exposed to it, my immune system will fight them hence making me immune to the sickness.
Before now, I didn't realize that regular exercise could save me from this issue, until, my commitment to ensuring that every morning, I go out to jog some miles. After a month of consistency, I began to feel unusual about my life and in the long run, I got used to it.

Jogging is a solo sport activity and this is the main reason I love it. Many men prefer football and in fact, virtually all the young people in my vicinity love playing football. Football however is a game of contact, and with that, one can end up in injury hence, affecting your productivity and general lifestyle. Therefore, I wouldn't want to risk my body on it. Jogging gives me the freedom to do what I like without my opponents dictating how I go about it. Most times, when I feel tired I walk, most times I will run at a speed most times I will take it slowly. The end of it is to build my body and keep fit.
Many people think that jogging does not exercise the body as much as other sporting activities like football does. This is not true because, while jogging the entire body parts are involved. In a nutshell, no part of the human body is left out during jogging. While the legs slowly move, other parts of the body do so including the eyes.
While jogging, you can also enjoy songs via ear pods or earpieces. Listening to music while also embarking on exercise, makes it interesting and fun. This is the aspect I cherished the most, when I plugged my ear pods into my ear, I lowered the volume, and then I was good to go.
One of the challenges I encounter while jogging on the street is being exposed to dangers. One can risk losing one's life as a result of road accidents. I cannot rule out the fact that there are amateur and reckless drivers on the road. Most times, one might be a victim of careless driving. To avoid this, joggers should use the pedestrian segment of the road or better still face the oncoming vehicle in a situation where there's no pedestrian road.
