January is almost over, and I’m not sure how to feel about it. It has been a mix of good and bad. The month started off great with me landing my dream internship right away. I’ve been working hard for this, and it felt amazing to get the offer. I also finished my web development course, which I’ve been wanting to do for a while. It felt like all the effort I’ve been putting in finally paid off, and for a moment, everything seemed to be going well.
But things took a turn when I lost my cousin brother. It’s been so hard, and the whole family is still in shock. His twin is also in the hospital right now, so everything feels really heavy. It’s hard to enjoy the good things when there’s so much sadness and worry. It’s been a tough reminder of how quickly life can change, and how things can go from good to heartbreaking in an instant.
That’s why I’m feeling so mixed right now. On one hand, I’m thankful for the good things that happened this month, but on the other hand, there’s a lot of sadness. I don’t know how to balance my happiness with the grief of what’s happened. It feels like I’m holding two very different emotions at once, and it’s hard.
Looking back on January, I realize life isn’t always all good or all bad. Sometimes, it’s both. I hope February brings some peace and healing for my family, and maybe a bit more clarity for me too. For now, I’m just taking it day by day.
Accept my condolence dr and I pray you indeed find yourself soon. 🙂
