THE LITTLE ORPHAN 🙍 AND THE MERMAID🧜 (PART 1)
Once upon a time there lived a little boy whose name in Igbo is 'Onyemaechí' meaning in English (Who knows tomorrow), who lived in a village known as Úmúdósi.
He lost both parents by a ghastly motor accident at the age of 11years. And ever since he lost his parents life became very difficult for him.
Every morning he wake's up, he will take his fishing hooks and line and walk down to their village river to fish 🐟.
After the days fishing, he will sell some of the catches and keep some which he will roast and eat.
This has been his daily routine, until the day he came face to face with a mermaid while fishing.
It was on a Tuesday morning by that time the sun was still 'creeping out gradually ' and was about to set.
He threw in the hook with a bait down into the river while standing at the river bank. After a few minutes line was shaking as if it has caught a fish, Onyemaechí with joy in his heart lifted the bamboo stick where the line was attached to but to his surprise all the snails he used as a bait were all gone and yet no fish was caught. He attached a new bait(snail🐌) to the hook and threw it into the river again and still there was no fish at the hook after all the snails has gone. He was disappointed but yet he didn't relent. He decided to try again for the third time, immediately he was about to throw the hook into the river, he saw something that has a resemblance of a tail of a great fish without knowing that it was a mermaid.
The sight of this mighty creature nearly made him to faint as his mind has skipped already....
