My greatest joy is my harvest plants

I am very happy with my garden, even though the seeds that I wanted to harvest for these months did not grow, other plants have grown because of them.

For November I sowed, in a seedbed that I made with recycled material, many seeds that come in envelopes. I think they are very bad, they are of poor quality or have been damaged over time and that is how they have been sold to me. The truth is that out of more than 10 vegetables that I sowed, only two were born. ONE
onion plants and a radish plant.

I am letting the radish plant grow old so that it can flower and thus have more seeds.

I am now in the habit of making my compost. I leave my vegetable scraps for quite some time in closed bags to use on my plants. I must say that I put my compost in the garden seedbed as usual and thank God that seeds were born in my garden seedbed from the vegetable scraps of my homemade compost.

I do not know how the weather, the water, and the sun did not destroy the seeds in the compost that I prepared but made them fertile, to the point that in my seedbed there are plants that I did not sow from seeds. There are tomato plants in bloom, I have two eggplants plants, and several chili peppers.

An onion plant that I planted from a leftover onion that I cut into pieces. It was rooted in the fridge. I cut the piece with the root and planted it and the rest I ate. I also have some spring onions, so I am very happy with the development of my plants in the seedbed.

In December I was given some seeds of ocumos or water potatoes as they are called in other places and I put them in rubber that we recycled at home. We cut the rubber and put some compost in it. Then I put a channel that slides the water from the waterfall of the air conditioner in my window. This water falls on the tires and keeps my water potatoes seedlings moist. I also planted coriander seedlings next to them and they are very beautiful.

It doesn't bother me that the harvest is small but what makes my heart so happy is that I am always harvesting fruits from my garden.

I just harvested some ginger and Curcuma rhizomes that I planted last year. They flowered and were drying out. Look at some of my beautiful rhizomes not yet washed. Soon I will be posting the process I do to dry and have these rhizomes year-round in my kitchen.

For now, that's all I can bring you own.For me, it's a lot of fun to plant in my garden. I appreciate the opportunity to be able to come to this community and leave my impressions about it.

The pleasure of planting, very exciting, @gertu. We feel joy when we see fresh and growing plants. Another joy when you can harvest the results. Your plants look lush.
