Hello Hivers 💕💘,

The Green Vegetable Production is properly proofed more during the raining season in the West Africa and in particular Nigeria. We had alot of discussions on which of the season is best utilize by most farmers. With a lot of chat and messages, over and over again I concluded that in my own case I prefer the Raining Season. The racism in the sense that it's bring out the best in farming activities naturally. I did a lot of practical experiment for both rainy season and dry season in terms of planting of crops. The ones I planted during the rainy season did extremely well. The ones i planted during the dry season also did well but not to the expectation. Due to the fact that the land was so dried off and I can say categorically that it was due to lack of water the nutrients was very limited. But during the raining season you have the upper hand to gain a lot of more additional nutrients to your planted crops to make them grow more faster and also establish good production system. These are some of the mix green vegetable I have in my farm. It may be new to so many people but for some people as well it is not too new. I always emphasize that it is the best to cultivate the habit of planting mix cropping. You have so many green vegetables at the same time on a very piece of land. But when you plant just a single seed of green vegetable on your farm land, you may be single out when it comes to the final harvesting period. These pictures when I was in the farm.

  • I have the red African spinach, I also have the Lagos spinach, likewise the Green Lagos African Spinach ( this one is different from the one you always see around the market although we have them but too in Large quantity. Why I said this is very different from the normal red Lagos spinach you always see around is that in this case, green pigment off day Lagos spinach is very pronounced. Compared to the other type of specie of Lagos spinach.

  • Is there African spinach itself also divided into two. We have the Green African spinach and also the red African spinach. The Red African spinach is not to common at all. You may never find it in the local market except in some few Super market and farms.

  • This is called the appetizer to the stomach green. We also have this type of vegetable into two. We have in Red Appetizer to the stomach Vegetable, where we also have the pure green appetizer to the stomach vegetable. When you see this type of green vegetables it is very succulent. When you touch it as well, it is very soft to feel with your palms. So this is why even when you want to prepare it as soup you must not add a lot of water. Some people may not even add any water to it when cooking because naturally it will bring out its own water.

This is the red Lagos spinach vegetable. When you plant these seed very much more different from the Green species. It is very sweet and delicious when prepared into soup. Sometimes when you are even watching it from a very far distance, it will turn the water into Red water.

  • This is the red African spinach. It is called RED African spinach because the green variation of the leaves is RED Color. When you see it from a very far distance you will see that it shows the red colour to your face. So it is never common. When you even ask some farmers they may not know this type of African spinach specie.

Smile. Yes, the spinach is much more different from one another. Many people believe and also call all green vegetables Spinach. I know and I have seen. But once in a while we need to talk it out and the differences shall be discuss extensively.

You welcome. Which country are you? Different country with different techniques of farming with different crops.

Hello, I am from the south of Chile. Coyhaique. Yes, how different. Here the cold forces us to have heated and mulched gardens in winter. Mostly we prefer spring.
