Do you Eat the cassava flakes?
- This is the process of making the transformation of fresh cassava but already fermented cassava into fried Garri at the moment. The woman uses the broom to quickly mixed the very fermented cassava on the fire to scatter them into smaller pieces.
Here come the woman who uses a very fine and small seive to eradicate the particles so that they finer consumable articles will form down through the seive. This method is an old way of getting used to this.
This is the medium surface at which the already extracted grinded Cassava looks like.
This is the factory that they produce more and more cassava flakes every day. Even though there are some people that actually come from other close community to also arrange and prepare their own cassava flakes as well. Is most consumed by everyone that is why sometimes there prices also skyrocket up.
This is the machine grinder although its an old school machine construction but yet its effective and also strong. It can work up to 12 hours non-stop.
This is the already grinded raw cassava into cassava paste before going through the process of fermentation and extraction of water for 2-3 days depending.
GRINDING STEP
For every step you take , its highly effective to ensure that you have a good, healthy and consumable foodstuffs at the end of the processes.
Once you are done with the grinding of the cassava tuber itself. You bagged it well and tight it so well. Then its goes to the next step again. To be Jack for 2-3 days to remove the acidic content.
