Pumpkins that do not have a stalk, you can immediately prepare and put in the freezer, pumpkins in the freezer will not affect the quality of its taste. No special pre-treatment is required for pre-freeze processing for this food. The pumpkin is peeled from the bark, then cut into cubes and placed in the freezer as needed for one use.
If you plan to prepare a cake or anything else and because of the space in the freezer, you can grate the pumpkin and put it in a measure for one use. Frozen pumpkin also preserves the taste quality of minerals and vitamins.
Pumpkin picking is done on a warm day when there is sun, because if it is a rainy day and you pick pumpkins, they will be wet and thus the fruit can rot.
HOW TO STORE A PUMPKIN DURING WINTER:
After harvesting, pumpkins should be left somewhere in the open, to dry or ripen properly if you think that some fruit is still green, not to get wet, so it should be open but with a roof, for example a terrace.
After they have dried and matured well, the pumpkins should be moved to a permanent place, usually in cellars or warehouses.

Pumpkin is a low-calorie food that does not contain fat. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber, so it is recommended in diets and weight loss and people who have a problem with fat (cholesterol).
