Harvesting my onions and some of my tomatoes from my garden

My onion harvest straight from my garden

Hello friends and community, this time I'm back to my posts because I always like to present my posts with good content to share.
This time and after some time it's time to go get the onions that I planted a few months ago.
I normally leave this planting for around 4 months from the time I place the chives until the onion is harvested, but this also depends on the weather conditions, whether it rains a lot or whether there are hot days with little rain.
Generally, before harvesting the onion, I stop watering it a few days before, usually a week before, so that the stem and covering can dry out a little and get that brownish color on the outside. Then I put the onion in a box with ventilation holes in a place where there is no humidity and this way I can eat onions without them starting to crack for a few months.

Here is a box with the onions I picked from my garden

My tomato plants are currently producing good tomatoes every day, they took a little longer this year to produce tomatoes, but it was worth the wait because, as you can see in the images below, they are a good size and above all they have a great flavor incredible.
I love eating tomatoes in a good salad, just pick the tomatoes straight from the tomato plant, open them in half and add a few pieces of salt and eat them anyway, in this heat they are very tasty.
At the moment I still have a lot of tomatoes ripening, but I'm managing to harvest between four and five tomatoes a day to store or even eat immediately.
Below are some photos taken by me to better show what I am conveying.

Some of my tomatoes still have green branches and lots of tomatoes underneath them

Here, some of my harvest must now be eaten or left for a day or two to ripen further and be eaten in a nice tomato salad.

Conclusion:
Friends, I hope you liked my post, I tried to be as discreet as I could to convey both in words and in photographs taken by me these harvests of mine in this warmer weather here in my country.
There are two products that I really like: onions, which I love for cooking different dishes and even for use in salads, and tomatoes, which I love to eat directly when they are harvested or also in a good fresh tomato salad, which in this hot weather in my country always tastes very good. .
I'll be back soon with more updates on my garden and garden, see you soon friends and community.

These vegetables are all homemade and cared for by me, so even the flavor is much better

That's a bountiful harvest of onions, and they all look in good condition. And the tomato too, I can eat that and dip it in a salt. I prefer if it's in that color, I don't really like an overripe one 🤩🤩✨. Congrats to your harvest 👏

I love tomatoes and onions, tomatoes that I usually pick before they get too ripe because I also like them that color better and in salads they look much better
