Hello Beautiful People!

Last February, Rex and I bought 2 goats from our cousin as Valentine's day gifts. We named them Choco and Crinkles and both of them were pregnant.

Luckily after 5 months of raising the goats, we finally met our new farm kids. They are so adorable. I was so happy when I saw these cute kids. My first goat is Crinkles. I named it after my favorite cookie which is Crinkles. She gave birth to 2 healthy male kids and then, named them Yoyo and Coco.

After a month, Choco gave birth to 2 healthy male and female kids. I named them peanut and Butter.

When I was young we used to have more farm animals and now we only have goats and chickens. Having these animals, remind me of my childhood years so I want my niece and cousins to experience taking care of these animals.

Raising the goats can be enjoyable for my cousins. We bought milk bottles for our goats and my niece was having fun while feeding the goats with milk. Look at her priceless reaction!

In total, we already have 6 goats. Unfortunately, the first kid was bitten by a dog and died so now we only have 5. From that incident, we decided to make a fence for the goats to be protected from those dogs.

The day before the building process, Rex and I planned everything. We measured the size of the area and came up with the overall size of the lot which is 200 square meters. We needed to have a wide space for the future goats.

LET'S START THE BUILDING PROCESS

Rex and I prepared all the necessary materials for the farm such as wood, nails, and other materials for the project.

First, we got some wood so we decided to use bamboo for the fence. It was so hard because we had to carry the bamboo quite far. I was assigned to climb the tree and Rex helped me carry them.

We needed to bring the bamboo so Rex was so determined to help me carry all the bamboo. We walked for 15 minutes from the bamboo area toward our goat farm. I admire Rex's determination in finishing our project. Even though it was a bit far and hard for him, he never complains at all.

We stopped for a while here. We were almost in the farm. My pet named Hope was with us all the time and it was so clingy that it eased our tiredness.

After having all the needed bamboo, we then started to make the fence. We measured and cut the bamboo and then, made holes for the wood to be used as the base of the fence. The scorching heat of the sun didn't stop us from finishing the entire project.

After finishing the entire fence, Rex put on the door. We only used the available materials around our house.

We were so happy that we finally finished our project. It was a collaboration between JR and I. Moreover, I can't wait to see more of these goats running and eating around here. It was indeed a productive weekend!

Wow, what a great farm you have. I'm amazed that you have names for your goats, I love that.
