Hello folks. How are you doing all. In this pandemic situation we all need to be healthy. Vegetables are good sources of vitamin and minerals as well as water which can makes us healthy.

Amaranth is a good source of vitamin A and minerals. Its very easy to grow amaranth in your home garden. Amaranth is a very fast growing plant. it's take 25-30 days from seeding to harvest. You don't have to do extra work for this to grow. Just you need to loosen the soil as the seeds are very small in size, so if the soil is hard then the plant may face problem to break the soil to grow. You just need to add some source of fertilizer to the soil for the plant's food source.

I love the read amaranth more than the green one. The red has more vitamin A than the green one. Also the taste of the red one is good.

You can either eat amaranth as salad or you can cook. You can also boil those fresh leaves with their twigs and eat with some black salt and pepper. I prefer frying those leaves with some black pepper, onion, garlic and salt.

Gardenig gives pleasure to our mind. So i encourage you to grow your own vegetables at your homr garden and eat fresh vegetables and fruit. So everyone need to have the agricultural mind set.
